Franco couldn't believe his eyes! Divorce was the last thing he ever thought to receive this night and all this happened because of one person - Edgar Cayce!

"You're divorcing me all because of Edgar?" Franco challenged, dragging the Divorce papers from his papers. "What makes him more special than I am, Elena? I am way more better and Influential than he is...it was just a matter of time until I reveal that to you..."

Everyone bursted into immediate laughter following Franco's words. They couldn't believe that he was calling himself Influential when he was nothing more than a live-in son-in-law who did all the chores at home and even babysits his sister-in-law's child.

"I wish those words you said would come to pass, Franco. But unfortunately, you cannot even be rich in your seventh life!" Elena said sarcastically, before caressing Edgar's hands.

"Edgar here has been our biggest supporter in this Empire. All the contracts we bagged with international Companies are all because of him. You didn't do anything, Franco! All you contributed was eating and spending my money. But here you are proving that you're influential and even rich!"

Franco found it very difficult to believe this! So, Edgar has been taking the favour of being the biggest SHOT in Elena's life?

It was so hard for Edgar to bear this that he had to scoff, "The number one supporter, Edgar Cayce?"

He said, smiling ironically.

"This man here doesn't even know what GLC looks like nor does he know the full meaning of GLC so how is it possible for him to be your biggest Shot?" "I sponsored the Froston Empire. I increased their annual sales and even made them win an award, yet, an unknown unlearned person comes out and takes the PRAISE?"

"Are you referring to me, Franco?" Edgar finally spoke up, his face dimming in anger!

He used to see Franco as a fool in the past which was the reason he pleaded with his boss at the car wash to give him a Leave to attend his wife's Listing Ceremony but he never expected Franco to turn out so confident.

"Perverts like you always keep their mouths glued to their tongue but you're here challenging your MAKER!" "Do you have a death wish?" Edgard added, attempting to walk further but Elena held his hands closely.

Franco didn't seem to sit back and watch Edgar talk lowly at him. He stood his ground and confessed to Edgar to his face that he's a very big Liar.

Edgar couldn't take this likely. He demonstrated to Rita and Elena that Franco was insulting him.

Rita ran to him instantly, dressing his shirt. "Please Mr Cayce, don't exercise your anger on our family. We've been in this relationship for a very long time now... You may vex out your anger on Franco but please don't be mad at us!"

"I helped you all with this contract because I love Elena. I can't stand a useless Son-in-law like Franco humiliating me in my very territory!" Edgar spoke immediately after Rita and Elena walked to him in a cool voice.

"Please, Edgar. Don't be sad! Once Franco signs the papers, I'll get him out of this place!" Elena said, trying to please the anger in Edgar but he turned to her amicably, giving her a sign that he knew what he was doing.

"Signing the Divorce papers is not my priority, Lena!" He said, adding "I want something else before my anger could subside!"

Rita was the first to jump up, saying to Edgar, "Just say whatever you want and we will do it for you. As long as you'll be happy!"

Then Elena's sister, added "Yes, Edgar! Just say whatever you want and we will get it ready for you!"

Edgar stared at both Mara and her mother. Their expression taste gave him a go-ahead to make his demand.

"There is only one way in which my anger could subside..." And that is if Franco will get on my knees, lick my feet and ask for my forgiveness!" He said, turning to Franco who smiled at him in a rather angry than happy way.

As Edgar gave Franco a sight of defeat, Rita dragged Franco by his ear and walked him closer to Edgar.

"You heard what he just said, right?" She said, fixing her cruel eyes on him. "Get on your knees, lick his feet and ask for his forgiveness!"

  • 179. Let's Meet Up At The Airport!

Muna immediately brought the phone down and ended the call. She glanced up at Franco with a quick, reassuring smile, the kind that looked sincere—if you didn’t know better.“It’s nobody, Franco!” she said sweetly. But on the other end of the line, Michael's blood boiled. He had clearly heard Franco’s voice in the background… and now Muna had the nerve to hang up on him? That simple click felt like a slap to the face. He gritted his teeth, gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white.Meanwhile, Franco took a seat across from Muna, eyeing her curiously.“Nobody?” he repeated. “But I just heard you speaking to someone. You even said I’m your husband.”Muna reached over and gently rubbed his hand, keeping her smile warm and convincing. “Oh, it was just one of my aunties—a distant relation. She was trying to hook me up with some guy, asking if I was ready for marriage. I just reminded her that I’m already married—to you.” She gave a soft chuckle. “I would’ve said more if

“Get the car ready,” Muna said as she picked up her bag, throwing a bright smile at her grandmother. “Agreement is agreement.” Granny mirrored the smile. “Alright then! Have a great day ahead!” Muna waved goodbye and walked off. To the old lady, it was certain—Franco had no chance of winning the challenge. It didn’t even cross her mind that Muna would leak the location of the Ruffian Lord to him. And when the thought did sneak into her head, she brushed it off with a smug chuckle. Franco is nothing but a useless animal. He’ll get kicked out by the Ruffian Lord before he even sets eyes on him. Granny had carefully crafted that condition for Muna with one goal in mind: securing a rich, powerful husband for her granddaughter. Whether it ended up being the Ruffian Lord or the influential Eddie Watson didn’t matter to her. As long as Muna was married into money and status, it was all she cared about. Meanwhile, Muna was buzzing with excitement. She knew her grandmother too well. Gran

Hearing what Rita said, Edgar stepped forward, face lit up with enthusiasm. “That’s such a brilliant idea, Mother! Your plan is perfect!”Rita returned the smile, though the sight of Edgar always left a bitter taste in her mouth. Still, he was useful. Edgar never sided with anything that didn’t benefit him. He wasn’t in it for family—he was in it for fortune. He wanted wealth so loud and blinding it erased the memory of his former failures. And hearing Rita’s plan? It confirmed it. Franco's fame was their golden ticket, and Edgar was already calculating the numbers in his head.He turned to Maya. “Think about this, Maya. Your mother’s plan is genius. Did you hear what she said? We’re going to use Franco’s fame to rise to victory again!”Maya’s eyes lit up. “Exactly! You’re right, Edgar! This is the kind of opportunity that will raise our family back to the top.” She hurried to her sister and gently took her arm. “What do you think, sis? We’re going to get rich again—filthy rich!”“Let

Her blood stained the floor in thick pools.“She’s still,” he muttered, then turned to the medical sergeant.“Check on her.”Michael and Oliver gently guided Franco to a chair, helping him sit down. His gaze never left Dyesi’s corpse.“You’re okay now, Franco,” Oliver said quietly, still holding his shoulder. “It’s over.”The sergeant finished checking for signs of life, then stood and spoke to the inspector.“She’s dead.”Oliver gave Franco a firm pat on the back.“It’s all gone now, bro.
