[[ Host: William ]]

[[ Wealth: $1,000,000,000,000,000 ]]

[[ Magic power: 0 ]]

[[ Strength: 0 ]]

[[ Agility: 0 ]]

[[ Wealth Points: 2]

"What are all these? Am I dreaming? Why is there so much money there, my eyes are getting fuzzy because of the amount of Zeros!"

William didn't even know what to do at a moment like this and could only stare at the System. He was only one who could see this system, if there was anyone in the room, they would think that William has gone crazy.

[[ INTRODUCTION: Host will gain wealth points after spending 10 million dollar ]]

[[ Wealth points can be used to increase Magic powers and combat ]]

[[ Host is not allowed to negotiate price as they would result in harsh penalties from the system ]]

[[ Host is not allowed to tell anyone about the system or else host dies ]]

William was confused, so if he spends ten million, he would get a wealth point that can increase his stagnant magic power and combat.

"How is that possible?"

[[ Host can test it out with the two Free Wealth points ]]

William stared at his character tab and there was indeed two wealth points.

[[ Magic powers: 0 ]] +

[[ Strength: 0 ]] +

[[ Agility: 0 ]] +

(+) Sign appeared in front of the three stats. William hands shook in disbelief as he brought it towards the (+) behind the [[ Strength ]] tab.

[ You added 2 Wealth Points to Strength ]

[ Strength: 2 ]

Immediately William felt a sharp pain as though his body was been stabbed by a thousand needle.

After a few seconds the pain disappeared and a new found power appeared.

William stood there staring at his hands that was somehow filled with power.

"Is this really happening? Maybe not, I think I sipped alcohol last night and it is affecting me now."

He pondered loudly as he made his way towards the wardrobe in the room.

He placed one hand under and one hand behind it and applied strength.

SHRUU!

The wardrobe actually left the floor!

"It worked!" He yelled out in disbelief, "It took four muscular guards to take this wardrobe in, but yet, I was able to lift it off the ground."

Learning about the authenticity of the system made his eyes widen in shock!

"I just have to spend this money and I'll be powerful enough to stand up to those who erred against me and prove to the storm family, that I am not useless."

William felt emotional at this moment, because of his weakness, his wife has had to go through lot of negative treatments in the hands of her loved ones.

Soon, Clarissa walked into the room with a sad look on her face, at this moment, William was already on the bed, pretending to be asleep. When he heard the door open, he opened his eyes and looked at Clarissa lovingly.

Clarissa walked up to the bed and sat beside him, a sad look displaying on her face.

"What happened, what did she say to you?" He asked her.

"Don't worry William, you shouldn't be worrying about anything right now, just get healed alright."

"Clarissa, even if I am on the verge of dying, you should know that I would still be ready to listen to anything you have to say."

Clarissa heart felt better at his words, "Grandma is serious now, she wants me to divorce you as soon as possible and marry another man she arranged a marriage with or..."

"Or what? Please tell me everything, let me see if I can help."

"Or sign a 20 million contract with Starkcom."

Even though William isn't someone actively in the business circle, he is still aware of the prowess of Starkcom. They are one of the biggest financial group in the continent and currently the biggest in Astoria, the country they live in.

One must be extremely popular and wealthy in order to gain the attention of such a big firm.

The storm family might be big and wealthy, but compared to Starkcom, they are nothing.

'In the past, it would be impossible for me to help with such an affair but now, I can make it happen with this amount of money I have, I'll definitely help you Clarissa.'

However, William wanted to know what was on her mind.

"Clarissa, it is impossible to get a contract with Starkcom at this point and divorcing me is just a signature away."

"Umm?" Clarissa did not understand why hs spoke like that.

"I know that you would do anything just to be with me, however, at this point in time, there is nothing you can. Don't worry, I would sign the divorce agreement if you want to."

"William! Don't say that, I am not going to sign any stupid divorce letter, my marriage is not a business that can be called off anytime. I am waiting for the secretary to prepare the contract, I would try my luck and if it doesn't work, I don't mind getting kicked out of the storm family."

William smiled at her reply, he arched his upper torso forward and wrapped his hands around her neck drawing her closer.

"It would be fine, Starkcom are not gods but mere humans, signing a contract shouldn't be impossible as long as the deal benefits them."

Clarissa nodded her head and brought her body closer to his, enjoying his warmth.

"When exactly do you plan to bring the contract to Starkcom."

"Two days from now, why are you asking?"

"Nothing actually, I just wanna know when."

Carissa nodded, after a few minutes, she fell asleep. The issues with her family was indeed tiring.

'She looks so beautiful even when she sleeps. Can't believe the Storm family would make such a queen hurtful because of me, I'm going to change that soon.'

The world had changed, but it was slowly mending. The scars left by the apocalypse were deep, and the memories of those harrowing days would never truly fade, but humanity was resilient. William stared at the figure before him, his mind racing as he tried to make sense of the twisted reflection standing just a few paces away. The smirk on the doppelganger's face was chilling, filled with an arrogance and darkness that William recognized but had never embraced himself. This was not just a reflection; it was something far more sinister. "Who are you?" William demanded, his voice steady, though the unease gnawed at him. "Why do you look like me?" The doppelganger tilted its head slightly, the smirk widening. "I am the Dark One," it said, its voice a distorted echo of William's own. "The force behind the apocalypse, the one who brought chaos and ruin to your world." William’s eyes widened in shock, and then narrowed in anger. "You... You’re the one who unleashed the zombies, who turned the world into a living nightmare?" His grip tightened on his sword, the blade beginning to glow faintly with the power of his blood magic. "Why? Why would you do something so monstrous?
