Chapter 1: The Night of Betrayal

Tirta Handoyo, the pride of the Handoyo Family, was a talented young man who had become a symbol of hope in his youth. At the age of fifteen, he had already reached a cultivation level that surpassed many elders, causing his name to resonate throughout Sido City. Tirta Handoyo was known as the "Young Dragon", the future leader of the Handoyo Family who was believed to bring glory to the family.

However, that happiness did not last long. A tragic accident five years ago took everything away from him. During a mission he led, he was attacked by an unknown enemy. The battle left him with injuries that destroyed his dantian, erased his cultivation ability, and left him in despair.

His once radiant dantian had become empty, destroyed beyond any hope of recovery. Chen Yan, the young genius, became someone who could no longer absorb Spiritual Energy, falling from his respected position and becoming a useless cripple despised by everyone.

---

Heavy rain poured down over the courtyard of the Handoyo Family. Tirta Handoyo, whose body was completely soaked, swung a wooden sword beneath the rain. Every slash carried the anger, pain, and disappointment he had endured for years. Sweat and rainwater mixed together, soaking the ground around him.

However, in the middle of his determination, a mocking voice shattered his concentration.

"Tirta Handoyo, you're still trying?" Yanto Handoyo's voice, the son of the Head of the Handoyo Family, could be heard clearly despite the pouring rain. Beside him, Melan Handoyo, Tirta Handoyo's fiancée who had now turned her back on him, looked at him with a mocking smile.

"You should stop dreaming," Melan added sharply. "Without a dantian, you're nothing but useless trash. Even a chicken is more useful than you."

Tirta Handoyo ignored them and continued swinging his sword. However, every word they uttered pierced his heart more deeply than the rain striking his body.

"Melan..." Tirta Handoyo finally spoke, turning his gaze toward her. "You once promised that you would always support me, no matter what happened. Was all of that just a lie?"

Melan smiled mockingly. "A promise? That was back when you were a genius. Now you're just a loser who isn't worthy of standing beside me. Saiyan is more suitable for me, stronger and more valuable."

Yanto laughed loudly as he approached Tirta. "I agree with Melan. You don't deserve to call yourself a member of the Handoyo Family. Even as trash, you're still useless."

Bang!

Without warning, Yanto threw a powerful punch toward Tirta. Tirta Handoyo's body was sent flying and slammed into the muddy ground.

"Stop humiliating yourself!" Yanto shouted, kicking Tirta Handoyo's helpless body. "This family doesn't need you. You'd better disappear from this world."

Melan watched everything with a cold gaze, without the slightest trace of pity. "My father has already requested the cancellation of our marriage. Don't ever dream that I will come back to you."

Tirta, whose face was covered in blood, looked at them with eyes filled with hatred and sorrow. "You can humiliate me now, but remember this: I won't remain down forever!"

Yanto only laughed mockingly. "Keep dreaming, Tirta. But remember, dreams won't change reality."

Tirta stood up and swung the wooden sword in his hand.

"Tirta, you're still trying?" Yanto asked while crossing his arms over his chest. "You really have no shame. That wooden sword won't restore your destroyed dantian."

Melan smiled faintly, her gaze cold. "Look at yourself, Tirta. You don't even deserve to be called a human anymore. Let alone leading the family, you can't even protect yourself."

Tirta Handoyo stopped his sword swing. His sharp gaze turned toward them, even though his body was trembling from exhaustion and pain. "Melan, have you forgotten everything we went through together? You once said that you would always support me, no matter what happened."

Melan approached him, her voice soft yet piercing. "That was then, Tirta. Back when you were still a genius. Now you're nothing but trash. I don't need a man who can only survive on the pity of others."

Yanto laughed, his voice echoing through the rain. "Did you hear that? Even Melan doesn't want you anymore. I don't know what's more pathetic, losing your strength or losing the fiancée who once admired you."

Tirta Handoyo clenched his fists, but his body was too weak to fight back.

"There's no point in getting angry," Yanto continued. "You have to accept reality. This world only respects strength. Without it, you mean nothing."

Yanto raised his leg and kicked Tirta Handoyo hard, causing his body to fall onto the muddy ground. Blood flowed from the corner of Tirta's lips, but he did not make a single sound.

"You don't even have the courage to fight back. You're truly a loser," Yanto mocked as he spat on the ground.

They left him lying on the ground, his body trembling from his injuries and the cold rain.

That night, Tirta Handoyo lay alone in the courtyard, with blood flowing from the corner of his lips. His face stared at the dark sky, but his mind was filled with dark memories of the past.

That accident... That betrayal... Everything had happened so quickly. In an instant, the world he knew had turned into hell.

"Why did I have to lose everything? Why do I have to live with this humiliation?" he thought as tears flowed down his face.

Remembering the days of his glory, Tirta Handoyo clenched his fists. Once, he had stood at the top, respected and admired. But now, he was nothing more than a loser who was despised even by his own family.

The voice of his father, Bertrand Handoyo, echoed in his ears. "You have disappointed this family, Tirta. You were our hope, but now you're nothing but a burden. If only you hadn't lost your strength..."

The pain burned inside Tirta's chest. The rain continued to pour, but inside his heart, the flame of determination began to burn.

"I will rise. I will prove to all of them that I am still worthy of respect. I, Tirta, will not stop until this world knows who I truly am."

Beneath the relentless rain, Tirta Handoyo swore to himself. That oath became a small spark in the darkness surrounding him.

He was broken, but Tirta Handoyo had not lost yet.

Tirta lay helpless in the rain. His eyes were empty, his mind filled with dark memories of the past.

He remembered the moment his dantian had been destroyed. During that battle, he had been betrayed by someone he trusted. That betrayal had hurt more than the physical wounds he had suffered.

"Why did I have to lose everything?" Tirta thought as tears mixed with the rainwater flowing down his face.

He also remembered the moment Bertrand, his father, had looked at him with deep disappointment. "You were the pride of this clan, Chen Yan. But now you're nothing but a burden."

Those words pierced his heart more deeply than the mockery of Chen Saiyan or the humiliation from Chen Melan.

However, amid his destruction, a small spark appeared within his heart.

"I can't keep living like this. I won't let them oppress me forever."

With the last of his strength, Tirta Handoyo gripped the wooden sword lying on the ground. Even though his body was weak, even though the world had rejected him, he swore that he would rise again.

"One day, you will all see. Tirta Handoyo will return."

In the middle of the rain that showed no sign of stopping, Tirta Handoyo slowly lifted his body. Despite the wounds covering his body and the pain gnawing at his soul, he still stood up. The rain bore witness to his oath.

DING...

As Tirta Handoyo tried to stand up, an unfamiliar voice suddenly sounded inside his head.

[DING... User's body compatibility confirmed. Heavenly System activated.]

Tirta Handoyo opened his eyes wide, his gaze filled with confusion. "What is this voice in my head?"

[Congratulations, user. You have been chosen as the recipient of the Heavenly System. Your main mission is to rebuild your strength. Do you wish to continue?]

Tirta stood frozen. The voice was so clear, as if it were coming from inside his own body. In confusion, he answered hesitantly, "Yes. I want to continue."

[System activated. Adjusting user's body.]

Suddenly, Tirta felt an incredibly intense sensation of heat throughout his entire body. Pain pierced through him, but at the same time, he felt a strange energy beginning to flow within him.

"Scanning complete. Destroyed dantian detected. Beginning initial reconstruction process."

Tirta was stunned. "Dantian reconstruction? Is this real?"

However, before he could think any further, the heat transformed into even more intense pain. He bit his lip, holding back a scream that was almost about to escape. The rain pouring over his body felt like flames burning him, as if his body were being reforged.

A few moments later, the pain subsided. Tirta gasped for breath, his body trembling. However, he felt something different within himself. There was a tiny spark of energy, something he had believed was lost forever.

[Initial reconstruction complete. Dantian has been repaired. User's ability to absorb Spiritual Energy has been restored.]

Tirta clenched his fists. For the first time in five years, he felt Spiritual Energy flowing through his body, although it was still weak.

He smiled faintly and then looked at the sky. "I don't know what this is, but if this is an opportunity to rise again, I won't waste it."

The rain continued to pour, but this time, Tirta felt lighter. In the middle of the dark night, a spark of hope emerged within him.

"Yanto, Melan, and everyone who has looked down on me. Just wait. I will return stronger than before."
