CHAPTER 16.Labelled him a thief.

Within a few minutes, four policemen rushed into the mall, followed closely by the mall lady who worked there.

"There he is!" she exclaimed, pointing directly at Robert. "He came back to steal again. He must be the thief from last time!"

Robert's eyes widened in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. She was accusing him of stealing something from the mall before, even though this was his first time entering the premises.

The police officers quickly closed in on Robert. Two of them pinned him against the wall, forcefully placing handcuffs on his wrists. Robert struggled to break free, but with four men holding him down, it was impossible.

"I'm not a thief!" he shouted in anger as they finally released their grip, leaving him handcuffed against the wall. "I came here to buy phones!" His voice was filled with rage.

"Uncuff me, or you'll lose your jobs!" he taunted, but the policemen paid him no attention.
