Chapter 29: Friend or Foe

Jason stepped down from the bus he took to school.

It was easier for him to save some cash from using the bus instead of taking a cab all the time.

The bus had stopped some distance away from the school but it was still walkable.

He hooked his thumb in the strap of his backpack and began his walk the rest of the way to his new school.

Jason was very much eager to start at a new school, maybe even make some while he was at it.

The only friend he had made in his previous school was Raymond and unfortunately he didn't transfer with him.

He walked the short path to the school and a short while later he was approaching the school premises.

He didn't see anyone else walking, He was the only one walking along the path.

Cars sped past him towards the school's main entrance.

Jason got to the school entrance and was amazed at what he was seeing.

The school parking lot was bursting with cars of different types. Expensive types. It was plain obvious that this was a school for the rich kids.
