At that moment from Nero, he realized that he may have made a very terrible mistake by trying to convince Quin to change his mind about helping them.

“Why did he even agree in the first place?” He asked himself, but he had still not forgotten that Quin was always eager to help.

But with everything that he knew about Mr. Darwin though little, he didn’t think that he deserved Quin’s help.

While everyone was busy looking at each other, the girl on the bed began to wheeze, and her parents ran to her at once, grabbing her from both sides.

“Amy? Amy? Can you hear me?!” Maggie called out to his daughter, but she should have gotten used to the fact that she had stayed that way for almost a year since she was besieged by a strange illness that looked like it was incurable.

The girl’s wheezing continued, and it wasn’t long before she began to cough out dark blood, her heart moving upward with so much force as she coughed.

Quin couldn’t leave from the moment he saw that the girl was struggling

Lady Xerxes still found it very difficult to say what she had in mind, but she knew that Quin could lose his patience and possibly walk away. “I am not sure how you are going to take this, Quin.” She said nervously, but it was hard for Quin to figure out what to say to her since he had not said anything tangible since they sat down in the living room.“I have a lot of things to do, Xerxes.” Quin frowned, and then he took a deep breath. “If you are going to continue with this silence, then I will have to leave you. You can leave whenever you want to.” He stood up and adjusted his shirt while he got ready to leave. “Wait!” Xerxes stood up from the couch in a hurry and blocked Quin’s way. “Don’t go, Quin. Please…” She pleaded with a whisper, showing nervousness and doubt, but there was no proof that she was ready to say the reason why she was there.“Just give me a minute.” Xerxes pleaded for more time, begging with both her hands and eyes. Quin wanted to deny her another opportunity

Three days had passed since Quin returned to Eastside. He had spent those three days in his mansion alone with Emily, Viola, and his son.Surprisingly, Emily was at her best behavior which was something Quin found very hard to believe. He believed that she had something up her sleeve. “I still don’t get it, Emily...” He said to her while they were seated in the living room upstairs that sunny afternoon. “Get what?” Emily gave him an inquisitive stare, looking like she didn’t understand what he was talking about.Quin had to lean forward to be able to explain things better for her. “I mean I don’t understand why you decided to come here. You have a beautiful mansion where you stay with your family.”Emily frowned at once. “This is my husband’s house. You didn’t expect me to remain in my father’s house, did you?” “But you mentioned earlier that you were going to stay in your home, remember?” Quin caught her off guard and her only option was to act as though she had forgotten what she

Quin exchanged glances with almost everyone in the room, and then he stopped at Prince Darrell who still wasn’t able to look at him. “I have done what I came here to do, I think I should be on my way.” He said calmly, causing everyone in the room to look at him in surprise.“What kind of a man is he?” One of the maidens in the room asked, and her colleagues joined her to question about the nature of the strange Doctor standing in front of everyone.“Do you mean that you don’t want anything, Doctor Quin?” The Queen asked and the Queen nodded.“There is nothing I this world that you can give me to appease me. I came here for a reason, and that reason has been accomplished.” Quin stood firm on his decision, and at that moment, it looked like he had cased more remorse to surge into the body of the Prince. “I can’t let you go without showing my appreciation, Quin.” Prince Darrell insisted, and then he was able to lift his head to look at Quin who held onto the plain expression on his fac

Everyone turned to face Quin. But instead of giving the reaction that someone who was wrongfully accused would give normally, he seemed very much unflustered at that moment. “I think you should ask him how he knows about all of this! Ask him!” Hilda continued to point her accusing finger at him while everyone kept their eyes on him. He was expected to react to the accusation, but when Prince Darrell saw that he didn’t seem bothered, he had to approach him slowly. “Why are you quiet, Quin? Don’t you have anything to say about what she has accused you of?” He asked, but his utterance made Quin very angry with him. “It’s such a pity that you would ask me such a question, Prince Darrell. I am sure you heard the confession of these Doctors.” Quin pointed at the Doctors on their knees while he was looking at the Prince with an unpleased expression on his face. Prince Darrell bent his face to the ground, and he only lifted it when he had managed to get a grip on himself. “I sinc

While Hilda was still struggling to free herself from the clutches of the maidens who were holding onto her, Quin walked up to the Doctors with so much delight etched on his face.Without being told, the Doctors already knew that they were in a lot of trouble, and the only plan they had was to start begging.“We know we wronged you in the past, Quin! But we were not in our right senses! Please don’t take this to heart!” The Doctor in the middle pleaded with a shaky breath. He was the youngest among the three Doctors who were on their knees, and the situation seemed to be too much for him to handle.“Please, Quin! Don’t hurt us! Don’t hurt me!” He continued to be, moving backward while he kept his eyes on Quin. “I swear! I didn’t mean to do it, but they forced me to!” The Doctor pointed at his cohorts, and they gasped at how selfish and easy to break he was. The two other Doctors saw that it was either they spoke up for themselves or they could be in a lot of trouble. They decided to

Hilda returned her gaze to her husband when she realized that her attempt to take the plate of soup from him was not going to be fruitful. “Darrell? Tell him to give it back!” “That’s not going to happen,” Quin spoke out before the Prince could get to say even a word. “There must be a reason why you are so insistent on feeding the Queen, and I am going to find out.” Quin dropped the plate on one of the tables in the room.Hilda panicked. “Are you going to just stand there and watch him disrespect me?” She said to her husband. “Just let him do what he wants, Hilda.” Prince Darrell had already seen enough reason to trust Quin. Right from when he saw what he did with the salt, he was convinced that he was the only one who could save his mother’s life. “What did you just say, Darrell? Are you saying that you are picking sides with that fake Doctor over me?” Hilda asked with a disappointed tone, but the Prince was tired of speaking. “Just let him do his work, Hilda. I beg you.”“No!”
