Col stood by the corner watching as the old lady slowly walked to Quin’s uncle. She couldn’t believe that he was the one lying on the bed with his eyes open.

“It’s okay, Col. She is with me.” Quin gestured to Col as soon as he saw that he was about to stop Lady Bianca from going near her husband.

“Edmund? Is this you?” Lady Bianca slowly touched her husband, but even though his eyes were open, he didn’t give her any response.

“Eddie?” She called out to him again with tears slowly dropping from her eyes. But there was no response from the old man, and she turned to face Quin for an explanation.

“I am working on finding a permanent cure for him, Aunty. You don’t need to be worried, he is going to be fine.” Quin said with an assuring mind, but the old lady was still worried about her husband.

“Why isn’t he saying anything? Eddie? Can you hear me?!” She shook him countlessly, believing that he was supposed to be awake since his eyes were open, but the old man gave her no response.
