The old lady was still shaky, and she grabbed the handle of her door, getting ready to run into the house.

“Uncle is alive,” Quin said calmly, and the old lady returned her gaze to him.

“That’s a lie.” She said, but the look on Quin’s face was something she couldn’t ignore even if she wanted to.

“No! That’s not possible! He died! I saw him! They told me he was never going to wake up again.”

“He is alive, Lady Bianca, and I can prove it to you.” Quin sounded very certain of everything he said, but the old lady didn’t seem to believe him.

“I know that this is very difficult for you to believe, but it’s the truth. Uncle Edmund is alive.”

“No! He is dead! I saw him!” The old lady said with tears falling from her eyes. “Why have you suddenly come to remind me of the past?! You should have stayed where you were! Go away!” Lady Bianca was scared of being seen with Quin, and he was wondering why she was on the lookout.

“Uncle Edmund is alive, Aunty. That’s the truth, and I need you to believ

Quin quickened his step from the moment he began to hear the man’s voice as he struggled to call them to return. Nam didn’t bother to attempt to speak to Quin to change his mind. He seemed to be in a hurry to walk out of the house as well.Just as soon as they hurriedly stepped out of the house, a black car wheeled into the premises and parked next to the car they had come in. Almost immediately, a beautiful lady with black curly short hair alighted from the car and hurried to them. “Who among the two of you is Doctor Quin?” She asked desperately, but neither of the two men gave her any response. They both knew that she was related to the sick man, and they were convinced that she could be as arrogant as he was. They ignored her and continued moving toward the Rolls-Royce. The lady was confused. She followed them at once and was able to get ahead of them. “What’s going on? How is my father?!” She asked, causing Quin to turn to her.“That man in there is your father?” He asked a

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SIXTY Nam hoped that the third door was going to be unlocked, and that they were going to meet someone in there. He watched as Quin moved to grab the handle, praying in silence. Just as he had hoped, the door was unlocked. Quin walked into the room without waiting for more than a second and he waited for a while before he went into the room himself. Neither of the two men had ever seen the middle-aged man lying on the sick bed. He looked older than his age, and from the look of his body, he suffered from a rare disease. A strong odor oozed from his body, causing Quin and Nam to cover their noses. As soon as the man heard the sound of footsteps, he forced himself to lift his head, and then he coughed. “Is that Doctor Quin?” He asked, his voice breaking with every word he said. Quin said nothing to the man. He had his eyes on the sores all over his body, trying to figure out what type of deadly illness that was. The sick man turned to Nam, seeing th

Nam was almost thinking that the device he relied on was giving him the wrong direction. “I hope I don’t get us into trouble.” He muttered, realizing that he could have been speeding them to the wrong direction. He slightly touched the device, thinking that it could be a glitch, but the same thing that was showing on the screen was still there. “What do I do?” He thought to himself, and when he managed to look at Quin, he saw that he as greatly offended“I am so sorry that this is happening, Doctor Quin. I thought that I had it figured out.” Nam had sweatballs all over his face, but Quin turned to him with a plain expression.“You have to figure this out, Mr. Nam. We have been on this road for more than two hours.” Quin said calmly, hiding the anger on his face. Nam was thrown into a state of confusion. He looked around slowly, praying to find a way to deal with he situation. Then he saw the house he was hoping to find, some kilometers ahead of them. It was up the hills and standin

Quin looked at Nam for a while. It was hard for him to decide at that moment. “You need to say something, Doctor Quin…” Nam broke the silence, staring desperately while he waited for Quin to say something to him.“I know how this looks, Doctor Quin. But the man said he was going to do anything you want, and he could have come if he had to.”Quin sighed. “What if this is a trap?” He asked, eyes on Nam who didn’t know what to say at that moment.“It doesn’t look like that will be something that you cannot handle.” Nam eventually found what to say. He was talking about everything he saw in the living room.He needed no one to tell him that Quin had beaten up people who came to attack him. “I promise to take full responsibility for this if anything should go wrong,” Nam said, and then he stood up and took four steps forward.“You seem to be very desperate about helping this stranger, Mr. Nam. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Are you hiding anything from me?”“No, Doctor Quin

While Quin moved to the door, Emily quickly moved to the back of the wall by the corner and hid. She peeped silently, getting ready to run if there was trouble. Then Quin opened the door, and saw Nam standing in front of him with an anticipatory smile on his face. “Hello, Doctor!” He greeted, waving at Quin who sighed as soon as he saw him.Quin returned the smile. “Hello, Nam. It’s been a while.” He said, and then he scoured the premises of his mansion. “Is everything okay?” Nam asked, wondering why Quin seemed to be a little bit too curious. “Everything is fine.” Quin responded, but the man standing in front of him found his words a bit hard to believe. This was due to the fact that Quin was standing in the way and didn’t look like he was going to let him into the house.“May I come in?” Nam asked, but it took a while before Quin gave him a response. “Sure! You can come in.” Quin responded as soon as he realized that he had stayed quiet for too long.He left the way for Nam to

Emily refused to leave the room even when she heard Quinn’s voice calling out to her from the outside of the room. She stayed quiet and hid behind the curtain, shaking while she peeped at different intervals, still afraid of the men she saw. “Emily?! Can you hear me?!” Quin’s voice was louder than it was earlier, but Emily still insisted on staying hidden. She refused to unlock the door, ignoring all the constant knockings from Quin.Quin soon got tired of knocking. It was obvious that she was thinking that it could be a prank to lure her out. So Quin walked out to give her space. He returned after about ten minutes and continued knocking. “Emily? Do you want to remain inside there?” He asked, but he got no response. Emily chose to remain quiet without unlocking the door. “Fine. I will be in the living room if you get tired of being mute.” Quin sighed, and then he got ready to walk away. Just then, he heard the metallic sound coming from the door. Emily unlocked the door and ope
