Quin looked at the screen of the phone as soon as the call ended, but he wasn’t certain of what to think about the situation.

“Something is off. Why would she be sounding that way?” He asked himself, but he couldn’t figure out anything.

Then he decided to leave at once for the Lincoln Villa.

“Where are you going?” Viola asked as soon as she saw him dressing up and picking up the key to one of his cars.

“A friend seems to be in trouble. But I will be back as soon as I can.”

“A friend?” Viola didn’t seem to like what Quin said to her, but it didn’t look like she had any other choice.

“Call me if you need anything. Aunty?” Quin turned to face Lady Bianca with a smile on his face.

“I will be back as early as I can, I promise.” He pecked her on her left cheek, waved at his son, and hurried out of the mansion.

He drove to the Lincoln in his blue Bentley, and from a distance, he could already sense the emptiness in the house.
