Episode 1 : Rex Louie

With immediate alacrity, Rex Louie alighted from the taxi and called for help.

In no time the nurse dashes out from the hospital with a stretcher.

Old Louie was carried out from the taxi and unto the stretcher without any delay.

Fear rendering his legs useless and clouding his senses, Rex followed the medical staffs into the tall building.

" Dad? Father! " He was saying as he followed the Stretcher in but Old Louie couldn't reply.

He passed out already. The nurses took him into his hospital room and stop Rex from following.

" You can't go in, " One of them said to him. " The doctor will come out to speak to you when it's time "

Rex only nodded in response. He couldn't sit or speak. His heart thudded crazily against his chest and He fears the worst.

The pungent smell of hospital disinfection invaded his nostrils.

He began to pace about. Worrying so much for the old man who had nurtured him from birth.

Rex still got his crossbody bag and his school Boots that has the initial tag name RCC on them.

He had received an urgent call from his father before he collapse and he had raced like a man being chased by some invisible demons from Rainbow Core College ( RCC ) .

" Hello? "

Rex stopped abruptly from pacing when he heard this call. Slowly he turns to see the doctor.

By the look on the older man's face, Rex swallows hard. He rushed to him and nodded.

" Yes. I'm Rex Louie. my father went in just now... Is he... okay? " He has already begun stuttering stupidly. Fear making him numb.

The doctor smiles sadly at him and sighs.

" Your father will be treated. He is diagnosed with cancer. It's deadly "

" Cancer? " He asked in great astonishment. Sweat already dripping at the nape of his neck. " You should...help me treat him, doctor...I have..got only him in ...this world "

Rex Louie is only twenty one but life had taught him more than what he should have learnt at that age.

A man so beautiful even after growing up in Poverty. Gifted with glorious brown hair and blue eyes.

" Yes, he will get treated for sure. I will have the nurses write out the expenses. About $100,000 in Total but judging by your status I will give you a discount. You can pay $50,000 "

At this new information, Rex couldn't breathe for some seconds. His world was paused at that moment.

$50,000? From a young man who lives in a dormitory. Who isn't capable of eating two square meals a day? From a man who had to run errands for other students to stay alive?

Anguish gathered in Rex's heart at this. He knows Old Louie's life rested on his shoulder.

If the old man died, He surely would never forgive himself. Rex look up at the doctor and shook his head.

" I... can't...get that amount of money in many years, doctor. I.. can't.. please help me "

Emotions overwhelmed this good doctor but he sagged his shoulders in apology.

" I'm sorry Rex. I gave you a discount already. There is nothing that could be done until you provide this money "

The doctor left and Rex was put in a puzzle and dismayed. He couldn't raise $50,000 just in one day. It's impossible.

At that moment his cell phone rang out, jerking him back to reality.

Swiftly he pulled out his mobile and answered the call without checking the caller.

" Is this the errand boy? " The voice of Khalil says and immediately Rex set his jaw.

After the school had declared both Khalil and Rex as an opponent in the upcoming competition, Khalil had hated him.

Rex made to disconnect the call but he overheard an offer that stop him abruptly.

" I got a job for you errand boy. How about you come down here now to do it? $200,000. What do you say? "

Rex was stunned totally by this but His heart leaps for new hope.

Without any words, He raised out of the hospital and flag down a taxi.

" To Rainbow Core College," He said to the taxi driver when he settled at the back.

Immediately the journey Began. About twenty minutes later the taxi stopped and Rex alighted.

The massive gate of Rainbow Core College opens for him and he steps in.

Rex headed in no time to Khalil's residence.

Being the only son of a renowned billionaire, Khalil's residence was built magnificently all alone, away from the male's dormitory.

When Rex arrived at the doorstep, his jaw tightened but after taking a couple of breaths he regain his stability.

He rang the bell and minutes later Khalil opens the door. A handsome young man just like Rex but with a dark heart.

He looked Rex over before opening the door wider.

" It's the laundry " Khalil stated as he lead Rex through the comfy home to the utility room. " Just a few panties and bras. You get your $200,000 once you finished washing them. Not with the machine though "

At this point, Rex was put in confusion. Not that he had never made laundry for other students. He had.

He just has to when he needs money. But never had anyone asked him to clean ladies's underwear.

" Why? Can't wash them? I thought you can " Khalil asked almost tauntingly but the other guy wasn't focusing on the Mockery.

Instead, his heart was on his sick father who needs to be treated. In a jiffy Rex's mood changes.

He pulled off his bag and set it aside. His Boots go off and he began his job earnestly.

' For father. Yes, for father ' He said to himself Inwardly as a motivation.

Khalil left him when he get to Job.

For some minutes Rex washes the underwear but all of a sudden he stopped abruptly, in midway.

His heart nearly stopped when he saw the familiar panties of Pearl, his girlfriend. No, it can't be.

Rex slowly held the Lacy panties out to better see it. He recognized it because he bought it himself for her.

After some inspection, his jaw fell open and he shuddered in great shock.

The panties of Pearl. Why is it here? Very slowly he reached out for the other underwear and his heart dropped to his stomach.

At that moment loud laughter came from the living room. Rex couldn't believe his ears when he overheard the familiar voice of pearl as well.

Blindly he made his way to the scene. There, what he saw stopped his heart and shattered it into millions of pieces.
