"Young Master Dave Ramirez, it's been a long time since we last met. I've been looking for you everywhere."

Dave 's eyebrows furrowed as he saw the unfamiliar man in front of him. After three hours behind bars, Dave now found himself in the visitation room.

A few minutes ago, the prison guard had mentioned that someone wanted to see him. Dave thought the visitor was Selena. However, the person in front of him was a man dressed formally, resembling a leader of bodyguards.

Dave had never known anyone who worked as a bodyguard. Also, the man in front of him was not from Selena's or the Warles family's security team.

"Who are you? Why do you address me as Young Master?" Dave asked.

"I can't explain at length because the visiting time is short. So, let me introduce myself. My name is Michael Sebastian. You probably don't know me," said the man named Michael.

Dave remained silent, only observing Michael. He silently tried to recall if he had ever met Michael accidentally. Although in the end, he couldn't remember any encounter with Michael.

Dave saw Michael offer a business card in front of him. For a moment, Dave looked at it with surprise before taking it.

"Michael Sebastian, Leader of Centratama Group Bodyguards," Dave read the information on Michael's business card.

Dave 's gaze shifted to Michael. Dave had heard of the Centratama Group before. It was the largest company in New York City. Its owner was a trillionaire conglomerate with immense assets.

Dave was somewhat surprised that someone from that company had come to see him.

"Sorry, you mentioned 'finally we meet' a moment ago. Why are you looking for me?" Dave asked again.

Michael smiled calmly. "I'm looking for you because you are the heir to the Centratama Group, Young Master Dave ."

Spontaneously, Dave 's sardonic laughter rang out. Dave felt the man's words were nonsense. It was clear that Dave 's family had been poor since childhood.

Just because of a chance encounter when Dave helped an old man who turned out to be Selena's grandfather, the owner of the conglomerate. Since then, Dave had been betrothed to Selena and joined the Warles family.

"What are you talking about? Are you trying to fool me?" Dave accused, laughing dismissively.

"I suspected you wouldn't believe it that easily. I'm not lying. If you don't believe..."

Michael then appeared to take something from his inner blazer pocket. A printed photo was handed directly to Dave .

Dave saw that the printed photo was a family picture. There was a man and a woman with two boys. One of the boys, about one year old, was being held by the woman in the photo.

"They are your biological parents," Michael said, startling Dave .

Dave immediately lifted his face and stared at Michael with a puzzled look. There was disbelief evident on his face.

"What is this? They are not my parents; I have a photo from when I was a child with my parents," Dave replied, denying it.

Michael sighed heavily. Knowing Dave was stubborn, Michael immediately flipped the printed photo over.

"There's Young Master Dave 's name there," said Michael.

Dave was stunned to see his name written on the back of the printed photo. Not only his name, but also the same date, month, and year of birth.

"If they are indeed my parents, then why have I been raised by a different family since childhood?" Dave asked hesitantly.

Michael, realizing that Dave was starting to believe him, smiled faintly.

"Don't you remember that Mrs. Kathrine, your mother, left Mr. Ramirez, taking you with her because of false accusations that you were not his biological child?" Michael asked.

Dave furrowed his eyebrows even more, trying to recall past events. Unfortunately, Dave 's memory was very limited. Dave only remembered briefly being with a woman when he was very young.

Dave even forgot what the woman looked like. Until he grew up, the woman he remembered was the one who had taken care of him.

"I can't recall it too clearly. I do have vague memories from when I was a child with a woman, and her face was different from my mother who raised me," Dave explained while trying to remember.

Michael snapped his fingers and nodded briefly.

"That's Mrs. Katherine, Young Master Dave . Your biological mother. You may not remember much because you were very young. You were taken to a distant village, and at that time, I couldn't find where she lived," Michael explained again.

This time, Dave didn't respond. He listened to Michael's story.

"At some point, I heard news of Mrs. Katherine's passing. That's when I found her residence, but couldn't find you," Michael continued his explanation.

"Was I already placed with the parents who raised me by then?" Dave murmured, pondering, but his voice reached Michael's ears.

Michael immediately nodded. "That could be a possibility," he said.

Dave sighed deeply with a restless feeling. The more he thought about it, the more he denied the fact. But on the other hand, he also felt curious.

"Then where is my original family?" Dave continued to inquire.

Michael reached into his inner blazer pocket again. This time, a piece of paper emerged and was handed to Dave .

"There's a photo of your family mansion. You know, Mr. Maximus has been searching for you, that's why he placed a photo of the mansion and the garden where you used to play as children on the paper," Michael said.

"Maximus?"

"Your brother, Young Master Dave . He didn't want to continue Mr. Ramirez's company, so the inheritance was passed on to you."

Hearing this, Dave still couldn't find the words. After living for years in a poor family, now he was told he was the heir to the Centratama Group conglomerate.

Dave was still in shock. It was too sudden. Everything that happened today was so surprising.

"The problem is, they've been searching for you for a long time, but unfortunately, they haven't been in contact with the parents who raised you since childhood. Now, Mr. Ramirez is in critical condition, and the Centratama Group needs a new leader."

"Wait... I'm still trying to process this. It's too shocking for me," Dave said, extending his hand.

Michael initially wanted to speak, but he held back his words. He understood that Dave needed time to understand the situation.

"Young Master Dave , you must return to your family. Centratama Group also needs you," Michael said calmly.

Dave 's mind raced. He imagined himself as the leader of Centratama Group, a massive company owned by a renowned trillionaire conglomerate family.

This was the perfect opportunity to get back at Selena and her family, who had treated him like trash. Also, Victor and those who were with him at work.

"I don't know if I can lead such a large company," Dave said with a doubtful expression.

"You can adapt quickly, Young Master Dave . You inherit the genius genes of Mr. Ramirez and Mrs. Katherine. They were both smart businessmen," Michael replied.

Dave looked hesitant towards Michael. "You're not deliberately lying just to make me happy, are you?"

Michael immediately shook his head.

"You must survive well here. I will ensure that you get a VIP cell so you can be comfortable and not associate with other inmates," Michael finally said.

Dave was both shocked and puzzled.

"Can you do that?" Dave looked skeptical.

"Of course. You must return to the Centratama Group family in good health, Young Master Dave . Until then... I will prepare you to become the heir."

There were bright red tomatoes, fresh green chilies, large purple eggplants, thick leafy water spinach, and many other plants that had been tended with care despite the simple conditions. At the far end of the garden, there was an area covered with thick creeping vines spreading across the ground. Mac stopped there, then crouched down, scraping away the vines with both hands, pushing aside the leaves and stems that were covering something beneath. Then, with all his strength, Mac heaved open a large wooden door hidden under the creeping plants. It was heavy, Mac let out a grunt as he lifted it."Please, Sir! Quickly, we need to hide down below right away!" Mac said in a rush, his v
