When Sean saw that Miss Rose wasn't ready to let him stay for the night, he went inside and began packing his little things.

Emily wasn't at home when Sean came back; she had already gone out to meet with Harry, her newfound love.

In less than a minute, Sean was done packing his little belongings, and he was about to leave.

But he was blocked by Henry, who demanded to check his bag, suggesting that Sean might have stolen something.

“What! Are you accusing me of stealing?”

Sean asked

But Henry didn't respond; he snatched the bag away from Sean's hand and began checking it, scattering all the neatly folded clothes inside Sean's bag and dropping them on the ground, stepping on them.

When Sean saw this, he was enraged and bounced on Henry and started punching him hard in the face.

Henry was powerless and defenseless against Sean, so he was just lying on the floor shouting for help and bleeding from his nose and mouth due to the continuous beating from Sean

When Miss Rose saw how defenseless Henry was against Sean, she decided to help by trying to separate Sean from Henry.

But all her effort was to no avail.

When Sean saw that Henry was bleeding profusely, he decided to leave him alone and started packing his clothes and rearranging them back inside his bag, not minding the insult rained on him by Miss Rose.

When Henry finally managed to get up with the help of his mother, he started insulting and humiliating Sean, calling him a bastard and vowing to deal seriously with Sean.

But Sean did not give a listening ear to what Henry was saying

All that was on his mind was where he was going to spend the night.

And rain was already dropping little by little.

After Sean was done rearranging his things, he carried his bag and went outside.

But before he left, he turned and had a final stare at the mansion before making his moves.

The clouds had thickened above, dark and heavy like the weight pressing on Sean’s chest. A distant rumble of thunder rolled through the sky, followed by the first cold droplets of rain.

He didn’t flinch. He simply stood there, drenched in silence, his bag slung over one shoulder and his clothes already soaking wet.

The streetlights flickered faintly as the rain intensified, slapping against the pavement and pouring down the edges of rooftops like small waterfalls.

Sean’s footsteps echoed in puddles, slow and heavy, like his heart. Each step felt like a farewell—not just to the mansion behind him, but to the man he had been for the past three years.

He walked aimlessly until he saw a small, run-down shade by the roadside—an old kiosk with a broken wooden bench underneath. He dragged himself toward it and slumped down without a word. Water dripped from his sleeves, his hair glued to his forehead, and his shoes squelched with every slight movement.

The sound of the rain was the only thing that filled the night now—no voices, no cars, no comfort. Just the relentless rhythm of nature mourning with him. He looked up at the sky, eyes stinging—not from the rain, but from the pain.

“So this is how it ends,” he thought bitterly.

Betrayed, insulted, humiliated, and now cast out like a stray dog.

But deep within that cold storm, a new fire began to flicker inside him—small, but undeniable. Sean clenched his fists, the rain masking the tears that had begun to stream down his face.

He had lost everything…

But he hadn’t lost himself.

Sean was unable to sleep all through the night with his eyes wide open as a watchman on a duty post

He was homeless, hopeless, and confused at this point, thinking about the betrayal from his wife, the humiliation and the insult he all endured for three years

He was heartbroken and wished he could pay them back for what they all did to him.

After spending quality time with Harry, Emily was back at their mansion with a smile beaming all over her face

But her countenance changed when she opened the door and saw her mother nursing the injury on Henry's face

She asked her mother, “What happened?”

“I was beaten by Sean because I searched his bag to be sure he hadn't stolen anything,” Henry said

Emily was very furious when she heard that

She brought out her phone from her handbag and dialed Sean's number.

Trriiinng! Trriiinng! Trriiinng! Trriiinng!

Sean was lost in thought when his phone started ringing and vibrating inside his pocket. He brought it out and looked at it. It was Emily calling

He wasn't interested in answering the call, so he put it back inside his pocket

But after the second and third call, he decided to answer the call

So he clicked on the Answer button and said, “Hello.”

And immediately Emily heard his voice, she started ranting.

“How dare you lay your filthy hands on my brother?”

Emily asked.

“Did your brother tell you what he did?” Sean replied

“Oh, shut up!” Emily snapped, her voice rising with fury.

“Whatever my brother did, he had the right to do it; he is the heir of the Harris family.”

“You pour out your frustrations and anger on him because you were asked to leave. You're lucky, I wasn't there.”

“I would have made sure that you are locked behind bars and severely punished.”

Idiot!

With that, she ended the call.

Sean stared blankly at his phone, his chest heavy with disbelief. The woman he once loved now treated him like garbage.

Sean was very devastated.

The long night finally came to an end, the morning sun was shimmering brightly, and people were going about their daily activities, both great and small.

But Sean was still sitting in the shade, thinking and calculating what he had to do next and where to keep his little belongings since he was homeless now.

Still in his thoughts, Sean looked up and saw a blacked-out, tinted SUV parked by the roadside

And out of the car came a man in his 50s wearing a black suit, looking elegant.

He walks up to Sean and bows his head, addressing him as “ YOUNG MASTER”.
