The King of the Northern Machete stared at his massive blade, which still trembled even though several seconds had passed since the last clash. His confidence slowly withered when he saw that his opponent’s weapon hadn’t been affected in the slightest, even though the strike he had unleashed was immensely powerful.

“Damn it! There’s no way this heirloom machete, a gift from my master, could be weaker than that young man’s sword,” he cursed inwardly.

The tall, broad-shouldered man with a fierce, bearded face assumed that the internal energy he had channeled earlier wasn’t enough. So he began to flow more energy into the weapon once the vibration in his hand subsided.
