CHAPTER 6

The younger sister fell to her knees with a thud, pleading, "We won't do it again, Mr. Elliott, please spare us."

However, Elliott Kane only scowled and said, "Didn't I tell you to run? Can't you understand?" The younger sister cried and shook her head in fear,

"Mr. Elliott, we really won't do it again." Elliott Kane narrowed his eyes, looking impatient.

He kicked the younger sister to the ground and raised his golf club again, swinging it towards her legs.

Just as the younger sister's legs were about to be hit, the office door was smashed open with a bang.

A burly man rushed in like a cannonball and collided with Elliott Kane, sending him flying into the air and crashing onto the desk, causing him to grimace in pain.

Several bosses rushed forward to help, struggling to pull Elliott Kane out from under the burly man.

But just as Elliott Kane regained his footing, he heard Maddox's terrified voice.

"Boss, he's... he's dead."

Enraged, Elliott Kane kicked Maddox in the face, breaking his nose and causing blood to flow down his face.

"You're the one who's dead, you useless dog who can't even speak," Elliott Kane yelled in anger.

The other bosses were too scared to speak, but then a deep, magnetic voice spoke up.

"Are you Elliott Kane?"Everyone turned to see a tall man standing at the door.

"Who the f*ck are you?" Elliott Kane asked rudely.

The man chuckled. "You don't need to know who I am, and you're not worthy of knowing." Several big shots began to curse at the man's impudence.

"Who the hell are you talking to?"

"You piece of sh*t, don't you know where you are? How dare you come here and act tough in front of Mr. Elliott!"

"Why waste time talking to him? Let's just chop him up and feed him to the dogs!" Elliott Kane remained silent, but his face had turned dark and he was clearly contemplating murder.

The bald man stepped forward and said, "Mr. Elliott, this guy is Lux Arden. He owes us money and he even injured several of our brothers."

Lux Arden nodded and sneered, "Ah, I was wondering who it was. So you're the son-in-law of the Thompson family."

"Mr. Elliott, don't waste time talking to this bastard. Let me tear him apart," the bald man said, eager for revenge.

Elliott Kane agreed, "Okay, go ahead. Just remember to go easy on him." The bald man was confused.

"Don't let him die too quickly," Elliott added, sitting back in his chair with the calmness of a mountain.

The bald man nodded heavily with a sudden realization, grinning fiercely. He clenched his fists, making his knuckles crackle, and walked towards Lux Arden.

He was one of the most capable men under Elliott's command, known for his brute strength in the underground world of Marlowe City.

He had once fought fiercely with others for territory and people, even tearing off someone's arm with his bare hands.

It was he who had led his men to Monroe's house to sign the loan contract with Lux Arden.

He thought it was just a small contract and planned to use his usual method of collecting three percent interest per day and collecting the debt after a week.

But to his surprise, all the men he sent out came back with bruises and swollen faces, and they not only failed to collect the debt but also had to pay three thousand dollars for mental damages.

He became the laughingstock of the company and was severely scolded by Elliott Kane himself.

He had wanted to teach Lux Arden a lesson many times, but was sent overseas by Smith Kane due to the obstruction of the group's overseas business.

He had just returned to Marlowe recently.

He was planning to teach Lux Arden a lesson when he suddenly saw Lux Arden coming to him.

He was overjoyed.

Today, he would show those who had mocked him behind his back what would happen to those who offended him!

"Kid, you must have been blind in your past life to offend someone like Elliott Kane. It's not something you can afford to do." The bald man didn't waste any more words.

Seeing that Lux Arden was powerless, the bald man felt bored.

He began to think about how to torture Lux Arden to vent his anger with Elliott Kane.

But then, Lux Arden lifted his hand slowly. He opened his five fingers and struck the bald man's face with a slow and deliberate motion.

The bald man looked down on Lux Arden and thought he could easily dodge the attack. However, he found that he couldn't move at all!

At that moment, Lux Arden's palm struck him and he was sent flying. He crashed into the wall like he had been hit by a heavy truck.

"Boss, he's dead," Maddox said as he covered his nose and approached cautiously.

Everyone was confused. They had only seen the bald man charge at Lux Arden and then get slapped away.

Was he really dead?

It was too strange. Elliott Kane frowned and shouted, "Whoever kills this kid will get the bald man's territory!" A burly man stepped forward confidently and said,

"Boss, l'll kill him!"
