Chapter 10

When he woke up from the deep slumber, he shielded his eyes as bright light blinded his vision until he blinked a few more times. Adjusting his senses to the surroundings, he found himself laid on a cold floor and an almost empty room with only a single bucket could be spotted on one of the edges.

One side of the walls was clear glass, where he sighted a man in uniform who sat on a chair while he fiddled with his exwatch. Oblivious to Yunzheng's state for his attention wholly focused on another thing and beside him, a table with a few sorts of things such as a plate of piled chips, cards, a glass that held what seemed to be half filled coffee, and a paper.

Yunzheng rubbed his glabella and let out a soft groan when the circumstances finally sunken into his mind. He got captured, that much was obvious but what vexed him would be how he couldn't even guard against whatever skill that man with a mask thrown at him.
