THE NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

As soon as I woke up I went down to meet other memebers of Lunar guild. It was so weird to be around woman, but I be just fine. I knew that I had to find that 'safe zone' if I wanted to survive around here. I started to look around here. It seems that everything going on pretty strange. As I continued my journey through the enchanted forest, I stumbled upon a hidden, abandoned spot deeper within the woods. This place was even more secluded and untouched by civilization. Tall, ancient trees with twisted roots surround a tranquil glade. The air is heavy with a sense of mystery and wonder.

"It seems I found something useful here."I thought.

I kept looking around and I understood almost instantly that since I am omega I am not going to get best treatment. I need to find a way more about this ranking thing. I decided to make this secluded spot his temporary refuge, spot where set up a campfire to keep warm. The flickering flames cast eerie shadows on the moss-covered stones, creating an atmosphere of both enchantment and solitude.

I have decided to make some needed living necessities like Glitch has told me. I needed to make some house walls. I was sure that it would take some time since I was alone, but I could start on small steps and keep going further. I started gathering materials and it took me about a whole day to make a foundation for my new home. It did not matter that I was rich back home, now I was like everyone else. I know that this is a game and I will be able to level up these walls later. Now I need a roof over my head to feel safe.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT THIRD PERSON'S POV:

Soon after Michael was done he decided to look around the house. The house is a humble, one-story structure crafted primarily from weathered wood and found materials. Its design is practical, with a single front door that appears to have been patched together from various wooden planks, giving it a rustic, pieced-together look. The roof is made of thatched leaves and branches with patches where sunlight filters through.

"Let's check other stuff,"He muttered.

The windows, if you can call them that, are openings framed with twisted vines and covered by leaves. They allow dappled sunlight to filter inside, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was home he was able to build and he was happy about it.

THE NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

At morning I went to Lunar guild and appearently except Glitch they have blueprints for building. It seems that my first task in game is well.

Task: Build a well near your safe spot for clear and fresh water.

Needed items: 20 stone, 20 clay and 10 wood.

Reward: bucket and rope to gather water.

It is needed to have fresh water and later other items filled up. Without water you won't last long in a game.

It seems that now I need get these things. I checked notice board and it seems person needs exact stuff removed from it's home. It is as reward, so it's perfect for me.

I grabbed needed things and went there. It took me a few hours to reach that location.

I was happy to see that it was just an old house. I saw nothing too special about it.

"My house needs these clay and stone blocks removed. You can do them whatever you like."An oc said.

"I can take care of it."I said

a/n.. oc - original/background character in the game.

I started working on removing stone and clay. It took me a few hours to do that, but everything to be working well. I finished doing the task and soon enough I got the needed materials.

"Good work."An oc said.

"I am happy to hear it."I said and smiled.

----

As soon as I got there I started looking for the right spot. A gentle hillside catches my eye, offering a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape. It's here that I'll build my dream structure. I began by laying down a solid foundation for a well. The stone that I have got recently. They'll provide a sturdy base for what's to come. I place the first block, and it sinks into the earth, aligning perfectly with the grid that guides my every move.

"It seems the start is going pretty well."I grinned.

The process is meditative. Block by block, I lay down the foundation, ensuring it's level and square. The rhythmic thud of each placement reverberates in my ears, soothing me as I work. Once the foundation is complete, it's time to add walls. I switched to a different material, stone pieces mixed with clay, for sturdy walls. Soon my job was complete.

Well is complete - bucket and rope were sent to bagpack.

I saw a message and smirked. It seems that it is going pretty well.

As soon as I was done I felt happy. I felt accomplished something that was necessary. A safe zone was an amazing thing, but I need to keep going. As soon as I was done a notification popped up.

The task for warmth: bonfire.

You'll need: 5 wood planks, 5 stones, 5 grass pieces, and 5 ropes.

Reward: Able to make berry tea to get extra warmth.

It seems this one is harder since I don't have any ropes. I like how gave gives information about why this item is necessary. It seems that I have to go to the guild again.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT THIRD PERSON'S POV:

As soon as Michael reached the guild a guild master Rosa met him.

"It seems you have finished a task. You should rest and continue tomorrow."Rosa said.

I nodded and smiled. It sounded like a good idea. I don't understand why bed is only can be made later, but I guess omegas have their own disadvantages. I guess I just need to learn to live with it.

IN A FEW HOURS AT MICHAEL'S POV:As soon as we got back home I started to work on building a gunsmith. It's going to take some time, but surprisingly I have got almost everything here with me. Back at my crafting table, I lay out the materials I've gathered—wood, ore, and coal—ready to begin construction. With deft fingers, I fashion the wooden frame of my gun-making device, reinforcing it with metal bars for strength. With a flick of a switch, the flames roar to life in the furnace, casting an orange glow across the workshop. I load the furnace with ore and coal, watching as they melt and merge into molten metal. With careful precision, I pour the liquid metal into molds, shaping it into ingots that will form the basis of my firearms. "It looks pretty hard."Wanessa said."It is but I can do it."I said and smiled. As the components take shape, I lay them out on the workbench, ready for assembly. With practiced hands, I fit each piece together, the familiar click of metal on metal mus

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:The next day I decided to visit that campsite location. It was obvious that I was able to go there for a good reason. "I can't wait to explore every nook and cranny of this place. Who knows what hidden treasures or exciting quests we might stumble upon?"Wanessa said with excitement."Agreed! But let's not forget to watch our backs. With such breathtaking scenery, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some tough challenges ahead."I said with concern in my voice. "You so focused, Michael. I am sure that we are going to have fun while finishing those missions ahead of us."Ophelia said.I sighed and nodded a bit. She was not wrong about that. One of the things I like about this old game is those chalanges ahead. After a few more hours of walking, we finally reached a campsite location. It's one of those 'safe zones' so I got pretty excited about it. "Ah, finally, a moment of respite in this bustling safe zone. Look at all the shops and vendors lining t

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:I was shocked to see crow's removal task in everything. I thought it would be fallen ones or something."I know that you surprised, but they are pretty strong in the bigger amounts and cause a lot of trouble for us."Leader said."I understand, but why others don't do it?"I asked."They don't have team like yours and thinks it's too small pay. They are in a forest not so far away from here. I can tell you can keep feathers. Meat is good too if you want it."She said.I got disgusted to think eating crows meat, but I felt it could be useful one way or another."I do it."I said."Good job."She said and smiled."10 copper coins for normal one and 1 silver coin for silver crow."I know what forest she is talking about. It's Highlands. It's more similiar to the mountains, but I can see familiar stuff. "How much exactly do you need for this task be completed?"I asked."10 crows if you find normal colour or 5 silver ones."She said. "I understood."I said and

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV: I noticed that we got everything ready to go there in quite a short amount of time. I think we are ready to go to that cave. As I walked deeper into the forest, the dense roof above cast dappled shadows on the forest floor, and a cool breeze whispered through the leaves, carrying the scent of pine and earth. Lost in thought, I was startled when a voice called out from behind."Hey there! Mind if I join you?" Wanessa's voice cut through the quiet, his footsteps crunching the fallen leaves as he caught up to me."Not at all," I replied, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "I was just enjoying the peacefulness of the forest." "Me too," Wanessa said, falling into step beside me. "There's something special about being surrounded by nature, isn't there?"I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of camaraderie as we continued along the winding path. The forest seemed to embrace us, its ancient presence weaving a sense of wonder and awe around us."It

  • 30. Fallen ones attack

IN A MORNINGAT MICHAEL'S POV:It was pretty obvious that we are going to get attacked by 'fallen' tonight. I saw that we can finish house upgrades, so after eating I decided to do just that. Ophelia took care of the east side and Wnessa of vest side. I started looking for something to fight them off so I quickly went to my guild master."Fallen ones huh?"She asked."It seems that we are going to get attacked soon."I said."They are bad with fire and guns, but it's hard to get in such a short time. You can buy a weaker gun but it won't help much so you need to craft a dagger or something you can throw."He said."I think I do got a weapon from a last trip. It's big sword. I never used one before."I said.As soon as she saw it she nodded understandably. It seems that we got idea how I can fight back. "You got it when?"She asked."When I was looking for materials.
