Two days after he had dinner with Damien Shaw, Jackson and Alicia Shaw arrived at the headquarters of Rikelia Group.

A long drive to Borealis Valley, the home of multinational conglomerates. Anyone with a business wants their base amongst the big names of the corporate world.

Though he’s the heir of the Rikelia Group, He has yet to unveil his identity to the public. At the entrance of the imposing building, a group of youngsters stood in his path. They glared at the girl.

Alicia Shaw didn’t have the same allure as her sister, but she had a unique charm and unparalleled beauty. Silky long raven hair tied to a bun and blue eyes. Her elegance and demeanor mesmerized anyone who stole a glimpse of her.

Her gray skirt which reached her knees, perfectly toned to her hips. A buttoned white shirt left much to be desired when one realized she playfully exposed her enticing neckline.

A woman like that stood next to a young man with a cheap jacket on top of a white t-shirt and jeans. In the eyes of those youngsters with expensive suits, Jackson was nobody but a servant.

The three youths walked past them and Alicia felt someone touch her butt. One even exclaimed with lustful eyes, scanning her from head to toe.

“Nice, firm!”

Without wasting a second, Alicia slapped the youth’s hand. He brushed it off with a chuckle.

“Feisty!”

The people in his group joined him, sharing a laugh.

“Beautiful lady, nice to meet you!”

A scrawny young man with freckles stepped in front of the group. He pointed at the proud-looking youngster behind him.

“This is the young master of the Ivory house! Lord Jeremiah Ivory! He just dropped off a new deal between them and Rikelia Group!”

Rikelia group was a company of high prestige. Their annual income exceeded trillions. Dropping off a new deal at such an entity means you are already successful in the business world.

To their surprise, not only did they not praise their young Lord, they even ignored him. They didn’t know Jackson was the sole heir to this group. Jackson, with visible annoyance painted on his face, stepped forward.

“Back off!”

Veins popped on their foreheads when Jackson didn’t even put them in his eyes. The young man from Ivory House, feeling humiliated in front of the beauty, shouted at Jackson.

“Know your place!”

Jackson ignored them once again. He didn’t want to waste his time, although the girl next to him felt frustrated by their behavior. He gently nudged her back and walked inside the building with Alicia by his side.

The three youngsters ran behind them.

The woman at the reception kept staring at Alicia. She saw all kinds of beautiful women, but it was the first time a stunning young lady walked in. When Alicia smiled at her, she even blushed. She didn’t even bother looking in Jackson’s direction.

“Excuse me!”

She was a bit irritated when Jackson brought her back to reality with his stern voice. She glared at him and coldly snorted.

“What ?!”

Jackson ignored her rude behavior and politely uttered.

“I have a meeting with Mrs. Aria. Can you please inform her Jackson is here?”

She looked at Jackson up and down. With an icy tone, she uttered.

“Do you have an appointment?”

“Yes, of course. You can confirm it with Mrs. Aria.”

The youngsters burst out laughing.

The chubby fellow with the young Lord provokingly said in a deep voice. “

As if Mrs Aria has time to waste for the likes of you!”

The young Lord from Ivory House put his hand around Alicia’s slender waist.

“Come with me, miss. Don’t lower yourself with someone like him.”

Alicia grabbed his wrist and twisted.

“Who gave you permission to touch me?”

The one with the freckles raised his hand.

“How dare you harm, the young master. Just because we took a little interest in you, you dare act so arrogant?!”

Just as he was about to hit her, Jackson stepped in front of her, receiving the slap. He flinched from the pain but didn’t react. His eyes shot daggers at them.

“Scum!”

The receptionist didn’t expect for it to turn violent, but she still wanted to save face for the young Lord of Ivory House.

“Your man will be fine, miss!”

His crimson cheek ached, but not as much as his desire to hit him back. “That little bastard didn’t even hold back. He dared strike a girl with such a force!

The girl gasped and hurriedly checked his condition. She gently caressed his cheek.

“Aww! Look at him, the baby needs his mommy!”

Everyone burst out laughing.

The young man with the freckles noticed Jackson’s glare.

“What are you staring at, servant?”

Jackson sighed, then once again looked at the receptionist.

“Please inform Mrs. Aria. Jackson is here to see her!”

The receptionist, unable to go against the young Lord, looked the other way. Her voice hinted at a sorrowful tone. She uttered with pity in her tone.

“Sir, I’m sorry I can’t help you.”

Just as he was about to leave, the elevator’s ding got his attention. Jackson turned around and saw a young woman dressed to the nines walking out. The receptionist immediately bowed.

“Mrs. Aria!”

After her, two men with suits and sunglasses walked out of the elevator. They stood behind her like immovable mountains.

The other three did the same when they heard her name. Lord Jeremiah Ivory stepped forward and prepared his hand for a handshake.

“Mrs. Aria, I’m very pleased to meet you. My name is Jeremiah Ivory. Our family has a long history with the Rikelia Group.”

As soon as they saw his hand moving towards her, the two burly men got in front of her and pushed the youth aside. Jeremiah Ivory didn’t expect for such a thing to happen. He felt embarrassment at his core. Not only did she not reciprocate, but Mrs. Aria walked towards Jackson instead.

Respectfully, Mrs. Aria bowed.

“Mr. Taylor, welcome to Rikelia Group!”

The policeman grabbed Jackson’s hand. With a solemn expression, he uttered. “Please come quietly. The homeless man passed away. I have to bring you in for questioning.” The young man stood next to the policeman with his hands crossed and a grin painted on his face. He rolled his eyes and sneered. “Serves you right!” Jackson remained unfazed. He didn’t commit the crimes they suggested, but ‌he still felt a knot in his stomach. “I’ll go with you, but none of your claims are correct.” Without a single word leaving his mouth, the policeman approached Jackson and cuffed him. He then turned to the grinning young man. “We got him, young Master Bacco.” With hurried steps, the wealthy young man closed the distance between him and the overjoyed policeman, then smacked him on the head. He leaned to his ear and whispered. “Shut up, idiot! Just take him away…” “Y-Yes sir!” Right then, Jackson’s worries were justified by that minor exchange between those two. • Ch. 69 - Crimson

Screech! The sharp sound of the tires against the asphalt and burning rubber from the friction turned the heads of everyone present, horrifying them at the same time. Their mouths gaped when they saw a woman floating mid-air before she fell on the rough asphalt. She groaned and spewed blood, adding to the formed crimson pool. Jackson, without wasting a second, rushed to her side. “Someone call an ambulance!” He gently tacked her hair away from her face. The girl’s eyes followed his movement. Visibly frightened, she shivered. Jackson held her hand and patted her head. “It’s going to be okay.” His soothing voice brought about a calmness in her rapid heartbeat. Unable to believe their widened eyes, those present held their mouths with their trembling hands. Muffled voices of fright reached Jackson’s ears. “Hmph! What’s with the horrible acting?” Jackson turned in the voice's direction. He saw a haughty young man in a gray suit. He had just gotten off his sport’s vehicle. A gliste

  • Ch. 68 - Hynkel Estate

After a couple of hours in the autobil, Jackson and the others arrived at the Hynkel family estate. With no gates or fences as if it invited people in, the estate welcomed its guests. Although Jackson thought it curious, he more or less understood the meaning behind it. A warlord and a nefarious one lived there. Someone must be stupid enough to infiltrate for whatever reason. The Hynkel family openly showed its might. The road ended when a paved path started, which led into the estate. A garden with abundant greenery and fragrant flowers surrounded the buildings. Different sections divided the place. The current head of the Hynkel family lived at the upper level, whereas Rosalia and her brother, as part of the branch family, lived in the lower. Men and women wearing black suits patrolled the mansion and the surrounding areas, with gun holsters strapped to their chests. It served as a warning to anyone who thought of trying anything against the family. The rest of the family live
