The continent of Dreamland was composed of several Empires and Kingdoms.

The Solaria Empire, Lunarstella Empire, Nychterin Empire, Ankouna Empire, Niveis Kingdom and Fulgura kingdom.

Three groups could be formed inside those countries in enmity with each other.

The Solaria Empire, Nychterin Empire and Fulgura Kingdom on one side.

The Lunarstella Empire and Niveis Kingdom are on other side.

Finally, the great Ankouna Empire on the last side.

There may be other continents but it was impossible to reach them due to the huge space rift blocking the way.

The Solaria Empire worshipped the God Solas, while the Lunarstella was the Goddess Lunaria. The reason the Goddess Lunaria was considered as heretic was because it was said that she betrayed the God Solas, while in the Lunarstella Empire it was the contrary.

Nobody knew what really happened but both Empires chose to defend their gods.

"Sigh...there is something strange about their gods."

Orion let out a tired sigh as he closed the book he was reading.

A month had passed since the day he was summoned and Orion did the thing he was very good at. Reading books.

He was currently in the enormous library of the Solaria Palace, reading books since the morning.

As for his classmates, they were all training on their own.

For a month, they were all trained by one of the commanders of the Solaria Empire. Orion also tried to train but he was really far behind.

Thanks to the awakening, they all got a superior physical body, but Orion was very far behind the others. The only reason he came up with was that he was not made for fights.

Two weeks ago, they were all taken into the rift of the capital to fight against monsters. Orion didn't even kill a single one.

Fortunately, he wasn't the only one. They were real monsters after all. Several people fled scared, but it was only the first week.

The second week, thanks to the support of Austin, Aura and Andrew, the whole class forced themselves to fight again without running away and it worked magically. For Orion, their fame and looks played a great role, there was no doubt.

Andrew and Austin convinced the girls by saying that they would protect them in case of danger and it worked immediately.

As for Aura, she just asked politely and all the men accepted quickly.

Of course, Andrew, Austin and Aura didn't want to force the reluctant ones, but after seeing the dangers roaming in this world, they had no choice. They wanted all of their classmates to learn to defend themselves without their help.

Talking about them, Andrew, Austin, Ryan, the Hawkins brothers, Aura, Anna, Elena and Sienna became extremely strong, surprising even the Emperor. They came into this world just a month ago after all.

Orion was also dumfounded by what his classmates could do. When he saw Jordan running at astounding speed or Austin melting a rock, he felt a little jealous of them.

Of course, Orion also trained with them, but it was futile as he was very weak. He couldn't beat a monster alone and even alone his strength was lacking. His body was skinny to begin with, even after gaining more strength thanks to the awakening, it was still nothing compared to the others.

He would have to strike dozens of times the same place to injure a monster...

Thinking about his last rift expedition, Orion felt ashamed but recovered quickly. He was used to it now...

That's why, instead of training uselessly, he chose to learn about this world a little more.

There were Gods in this world, but what was strange for Orion was the fact that they knew nearly nothing about them.

The reason they were worshipping them was because they founded their Empires. It was written in the archives of their ancestors, so there were probably no lies.

But where were they now ?

'Moreover, isn't their worship too much exaggerated ?'

"Orion!"

A beautiful voice rang out and all the people in the library turned around.

There the most beautiful girl in the Empire was smiling at Orion.

The latter turned around and saw a golden-haired girl waving at him.

"Li-Liana ?"

"Yes it's me!" Liana giggled and approached Orion.

It had been a month and Orion and Liana became truly friends now, so they stopped using formalities between them. There was no problem with that, as Orion was a hero from another world which was considered as a high status everywhere on the continent.

It was also thanks to his status that nobody inside the palace dared to say anything bad about him. But they still whispered or talked behind him of how useless he was while the others were working hard.

"What are you doing ?" Liana asked curiously.

"As always reading a book, I'm just good at that anyway..."

"Sigh...again your self-deprecation!" Liana pouted angrily.

"M-My bad..." Orion averted his eyes from her beautiful face.

"Hey!"

But Liana brought her face in front of him.

"Wh-what is it ?" Orion asked, trying his best to remain calm.

"I have a gift for you!" Liana said as her golden eyes shined.

"A gift ?"

"Yes look!"

Liana took out a sixty-centimeter long golden thread.

"You said that your chain for your ring was broken before you came into this world, right ? So I prepared a golden thread as a replacement for you! It was made with the skin of a ferocious monster from the fifth floor of the rift."

Liana said with a smile.

"Th-thank you so much Lia!"

Orion was so happy that he called her by her nickname. He started calling her like that a week ago because it was easier, but stopped after seeing the glare of his classmates.

Liana froze at his call like every time, only her family called her like that.

"I-I mean thank you Lia-Liana."

Orion corrected quickly after seeing Liana's expression.

"You can call me Lia!" Liana spoke loudly.

"Eh ?"

"I said, you can call me Lia." She repeated with a serious face.

"N-No I..."

"I will call you Rion, so you can call me Lia!"

"Wh-what ?!" Orion was dumfounded by the turn of conversation.

"Okay ?" Liana said with a smile, but there was pressure on it.

"O-Okay..."

Orion replied, embarrassed. Just the thought of someone hearing them calling each other by their nickname was enough to make him want him to bury himself in the ground from embarrassment.

"Good. Now take it!" Lianna said, handing him the golden thread.

"Thanks." Orion replied with a smile.

Apart from his family, she was the only one offering him a gift, so he was very happy.

Taking out his blue ring from his pocket, he passed it through the thread. Then he tried to hang it around his neck but he was having a hard time hooking the two parts of the thread.

"Let me do it."

Liana said, taking the now pendant from Orion's hands.

"Li-Lia ?"

"Sshh."

Liana went behind Orion and tried to put the pendant around his neck.

Orion's face was bright red as a sweet fragrance invaded his surroundings. He thought that her fragrance smelled like peach but in another realm.

'W-wait! what am I thinking?!'

Thump! Thump! Thump!

His heartbeat accelerated.

'Wh-what is happening...?'

Orion was feeling weird because of the strange feeling.

"I finished!" Liana said before walking away for the pleasure of Orion.

His mind would have broken from tension if she continued to stay behind him.

"Rion, is your face red ?" Lianna noticed Orion's bright red face.

"Eh ?"

Orion touched his face and he was indeed feeling hot.

  • In Nychterin

The Nychterin Empire, once overshadowed by hardship, had transformed into a beacon of power and resilience on the Dreamland continent. This remarkable evolution was a stark contrast to its past, a past marred by the scars of a war that had ravaged the nation hundreds of years earlier. During those tumultuous times, the Nychterin Empire had borne the brunt of the conflict, losing countless knights to the enemy's clutches. The aftermath was even grimmer, marked by a scarcity of labor and, more poignantly, a pervasive sense of desolation that had settled over the populace. Widows mourned, children became orphans, and the Empire seemed to teeter on the precipice of despair. Yet, amid this darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged. The Solaria Empire, a benevolent force, extended a compassionate hand to their beleaguered neighbors. Without seeking recompense, they aided in the Empire's reconstruction and dispatched healers to tend to the wounded souls. Although the specter of gloom lingered, the

  • Departing To Nychterin

“You-You want to take part in the tournament?”Selena stammered, speechless at Aita’s demand.“Yeah.”Aita nodded casually.“Why, suddenly? You told me yesterday you were not interested?”Selena tried her best to keep her calm.“I want the reward.”“!”Shock filled Selena’s face. Did he want the reward? So Princess Evelyn? She couldn’t believe it.“Wh-Why? You already have me…”Selena started to doubt her own worth now. She didn’t want to brag about it, but she considered herself not less beautiful than Evelyn Nychterin. Or maybe Aita liked the innocent-type more?“What?”Aita, as dense as ever, wondered what the hell she was speaking about. He only wanted the second reward, the other part of his spear after all.“Can I use you in need every day? Would you be with me any time?”Aita said in a mocking tone. She wasn’t a weapon after all.“Idiot!”-Thud!Selena threw the cup of coffee in Aita’s face and ran away with a tomato-red face.***“Princess.”“...”“Princess?”“Ah!”Selena brok

  • Aita And Elena [2]

“Ahhhh…He’s taking his time.” Daisy yawned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. More than an hour had passed and Aita still hadn’t come out. She was on the verge of sleeping on the floor but held back. She could wait for Aita. Aita had still saved her best friend and her. “What the hell is he doing?!” Anna, still hidden in the corner, was reaching the limits of her patience. “Anna, seriously, we should go…I really want to sleep…” Isabel leaned on the wall and was on the verge of falling asleep like that. “No! Wait a little mor-” “Daisy?” “““!””” “Le-Lena?” Daisy was surprised to see Elena here. She was sure Elena would play or speak with Aura for a few more hours at least… “What are you doing outside and you will catch a cold like that.” Elena sighed, seeing Daisy standing there in a negligee. Elena was also wearing a blue negligee but she was wearing a jacket on it. “A-Ah, well…” Daisy scratched her head, not knowing what to do. Aita was still inside the room after all. Still,

  • Anna Is Overprotective

Late at night, Aita left his room. He wandered in the corridor of the palace aimlessly. The guards roaming around would bow to him upon seeing him, otherwise they would let him. They probably thought he wanted to take a breath of fresh air. After an hour or so, he started to walk toward the section reserved for the girls in his class. Like Daisy had promised, she would leave him in their room. Waiting for the right time, he went to the ladies' side. He made sure to erase any sound of his steps with his wind. He didn’t want to cause another uproar and be labeled with another cringe nickname. He already wanted to erase his memories just thinking about what he was doing. Infiltrating the ladies’ dormitory at night? Anyone would label him as human trash.Reaching the room of Daisy and Elena, Aita knocked on the door. He was having a hard time keeping his face from distorting. All his actions seemed like he was going to sleep with a woman late at night…“Look, Isabel, I knew it!”At the en

  • Enticing Reward

“You had a tough day, Aita.”Selena said with a glare. They went back to the palace and the first person who welcomed Aita was Selena. She had an exhausted complexion but she still looked like a perfect princess. Her sapphire eyes were staring angrily at Aita and mostly the knights of Lunarstella. She told them to look after Aita so he wouldn’t do anything, threatening their truce, but they couldn’t do anything. They all averted their faces in shame. They couldn’t tell that Aita at that time was too scary to speak to. More than that, they were also angry at Rex and the others for what they had done.“...”Aita stared at Selena. Her face overlapped with the mature Selena of the recording. Her tears, her sad expression, her helplessness, everything overlapped with the current Selena. He couldn’t understand why that woman he didn’t know at all was making his emotions stir that much. He cared for Selena Luna Lunarstella, but not her great-great-aunt.“Aita?”Selena called out to Aita sinc

  • Getting Out Of The Rift

“What happened…”Aura asked. Behind her were all her classmates, the knights of Solaria and Lunarstella. They were silently waiting for two people to answer. The two people were, of course, Aita and Elena who, after two days, finally reached the entrance of the rift. Austin, Jake, Jaxon and Daisy had already arrived as well the day before, so everyone was there. Well, everyone except Gaut and Rex, who were killed by Aita. By the way, Bein was sitting with a blank expression in a corner ignoring them. Anyway, most of the stares were gathered on two people. Aita and Elena. Aita had his black mask off but he still had his skin mask, which didn’t please him in the slightest as he felt uncomfortable with it, so his current annoyed expression. Right behind, strangely close to him, was Elena, who seemed to be happy to finally reunite with her classmates.“Nothing.”Aita replied clearly, showing that he was annoyed at her question, and walked ahead. “Hmpf!”Aura harrumphed and went to Elena
