Chapter Ninety: The Bandits
The next day, Shawn decided to visit the town with his wife to sell their crops and harvest from their small fields of vegetation. The town was quite far from their house. Fortunately, they had a horse and a wagon. Shawn took the horse from the stable and attached it to the wagon, while his wife gathered the baskets of crops and put them inside the wagon. Later in the afternoon, Shawn decided to head back home. As he said, the emperor sent three royal knights to accompany him. They rode on a royal carriage. After his training with Charlotte, Shawn finally had the chance to sneak outside the palace. He made sure that no one was watching, as he didn't want his parents to scold him. What am I doing here?" he asked himself.
