Chapter 15 : First Duel

Spike was terrified that Vahn would suddenly attack him in a vital spot. He was certain that his current state was one of the abilities that belonged to Vahn.

[ All Skills were active. Strike of Heracles and Hardened Walls were available to use ]

Spike remembers it, he got the Hardened Walls skill when fighting the Gorlocks. Under these circumstances, a skill like that would definitely be very useful for him to use.

“Hardened Walls!” Spike shouted activating his skill.

“What skills are those? I thought you only had one skill?” Vahn's response heard the scream from Spike just now.

"A gambler never shows his trump card!"

Even though Spike still couldn't see anything right now, he was confident that he would be able to survive if he activated the skill.

Vahn not knowing what the skill was, just immediately tried to attack Spike in his blind spot.

Vahn ripped the body from Spike so quickly and deeply as well.

The wounds on his body were unbearable. Spike is confused, does his Hardened Walls skill work?

Who knows how many times Spike has lost blood by this time. If he was in this state for too long, then he would most likely die from a blood loss

Spike's body became radiant, his radiance surpassing even the lights that illuminated the entire arena. Vahn who wanted to quickly kill Spike had to come to a halt in shock.

Spike was still lying there unable to do anything. He turned his smile towards Vahn. One that seemed to think what Vahn was currently doing was something ridiculous.

“Why are you smiling like that? I will kill you!"

Vahn simply plunged his knife straight into Spike's body.

Instantly, Spike's body exploded. The radius as well as the sound was enormous almost exceeding that of the arena itself.

No one could tell how Vahn's condition was now let alone him being quite close to Spike in that state just now. More accurately, it was likely for Vahn to be able to succeed safely.

"What was that?" Spike muttered trying to get back on his feet.

His body condition suddenly became healthy and fit again without the slightest wound like before. He even became powerful now.

He looked towards the corner, where Vahn had ejected.

The condition of his enemy's body could no longer be said to be a human. Nearly half of his body had been destroyed by the explosion. Spike tried to approach his enemy and find out what happened.

"What happened to your body?" asked Spike confused.

"Oh no, looks like they started it now" Vahn replied guessing.

"Start what?"

Vahn crawled on all fours on one arm as well as his remaining leg. He headed for the gate where he came out earlier.

“You guys there! Quickly get me out of here! I am not one of them!”

Spike was still confused. Vahn didn't explain anything about the situation that was going on in this place right now. Spike sensed that Vahn was even more terrified than before.

“Hurry help me!” Vahn said thrashing about.

"Hey! What happened in this place? Quickly tell me!” Spike's response, the only person at Vahn's side right now.

“You really are stupid. The prison lockdown system is the highest level of the prison's security level. No one can enter or exit if that level has already started. Only one thing makes the prison do this. The prisoners revolted and tried to escape from the prison…”
