Super Quest System

Chapter 01.

Artana High School is a school that is famous as one of the favorite schools in Rouka City.

This school has three teaching buildings according to its level. Starting from level one, two and the last is three.

The canteen itself is located behind the three buildings and there is a corner of the canteen right near the first floor building which is specifically for the gathering of thug groups.

Bugh! Bugh!

"Ryu, how dare you ignore my order!" A short blond haired thug said in an annoyed tone.

A young man with short black hair, was covering his head. He fell to the ground and did not know how to fight because his body was weak.

"Oi Ken stop it, he might die later." A red-haired person said in a slightly loud tone. He stared at the young man named Ryu flatly.

"Huh, just let him die! Moreover, he's after Sera, whom I've been eyeing for a long time!" Ken continued to kick Ryu's stomach without paying any attention to his partner.

"Ken, stop. He's already battered and bruised and should know that offending you is just courting death." The young man with curly black hair said clearly.

Ken stopped his kick. His two friends had already given him such words so he had no choice but to stop kicking Ryu.

Ken didn't talk much, he just kept quiet and there was a feeling of annoyance in his heart. One of his friends gave him a cigarette which he accepted well.

"I'm going to class," Ken said turning to leave. However, he stopped and looked at Ryu. "Be careful, you don't get close to Sera and dare to ignore my orders! You'll only be a name later!"

Ken who had threatened immediately walked away from the corner of the canteen. Of course Ken's departure made the other colleagues immediately disperse leaving Ryu lying on the ground.

There was no movement at all from Ryu, even when the bell rang. He didn't move at all.

In the afternoon, Ryu who was lying down finally moved. He groaned in pain and with slow movements, leaned against the first-class building.

"Ugh, it hurts.." Ryu held his hand and he realized that his hand was hard to move. "I think I broke a bone..."

Such a trivial tone as if such an event was normal for him. Ryu's eyes looked sad and he looked up at the sky that was already orange.

"Will my fate continue like this? After leaving the orphanage, I didn't know where to go and ended up renting a boarding house near the school."

"I thought my school would be normal, but I didn't expect these people to bully me again and again." Ryu said in a weak tone, then he mumbled vaguely again.

"Why didn't I just die..."

Ryu himself was completely unable to bear the burden he was carrying. He shook his head and slowly got up from his seat.

"Ack!" Ryu gritted his teeth at the pain that shot through his leg. He immediately slowly walked out of the corner of the school cafeteria.

He shook off the negative thoughts and when he came out, a smile formed even though it was just an empty smile.

Ryu stepped into the second-grade building, he needed to grab his bag and had to go to the convenience store to do some part-time work.

That's right, for him to be able to live in a boarding house and go to school. Ryu needs to work even if it's just a part-time job.

After taking his bag, Ryu stepped out of the classroom and left the school. He himself only needed to walk a few minutes to reach his boarding house.

Arriving at the boarding house, Ryu began to clean himself even though it was very difficult because of his broken hand. He could only wince in pain in cleaning his body.

"I better not offend them again, should I say... Or should I just drop out of school?" Ryu's eyes were filled with confusion.

He was a little bit unbearable with the bullying done by Ken's group. He immediately dismissed the thought. "I promised not to drop out of school. So just hang in there, maybe there will be a way later."

After some self-reflection, Ryu came out of the bathroom. He put on his shop clothes, then walked towards the convenience store that was not far from where he was.

The busy street, there is a shop with a sign called Liman. This place is a convenience store where Ryu works.

Arriving at the shop, Ryu glanced at the door for a moment before entering and saw that the shop owner was standing with his back to him.

There were several employees standing in front of the shop owner. Of course Ryu's arrival made them quiet and look at him with pity.

Seeing such a look, Ryu asked, “Owner Carl, it’s unusual for you to come here? Is something the matter?”

The owner named Carl looked at Ryu sadly. "Ryu, have you offended anyone lately?"

The owner's question made Ryu frown. "I didn't offend anyone, Owner Carl. Did something happen?"

Carl nodded. "Then, do you know a young man named Ken Adwan? The second son of the wealthy Adwan family?"

Ryu's eyes narrowed and he suddenly realized something. "Is he bothering you guys?"

Ryu's gaze fell on the employees behind Owner Carl. However, all of them shook their heads, making him sigh in relief.

Ryu suddenly came to his senses and asked, "Then did something happen? Why are you guys questioning Ken?"

Carl patted Ryu on the shoulder. "Uncle can't help Ryu anymore. That young man Ken said that you have to be kicked out of our shop or the shop won't be able to run anymore."

Ryu's eyes widened. "You mean I was fired and only because of what Ken said?"

"That's right, don't you know, Liman himself is part of Adwan's company?" Carl asked in surprise.

Ryu suddenly realized, then he nodded. "Then okay, thank you for your care all this time, Uncle Carl."

"No Ryu, can't we just beg him to bu-"

"Miria, it's okay." Ryu's gaze was fixed on the beautiful woman who was wanting him to kneel at Ken's feet.

Ryu's smile looked so sad, then he turned around and walked out of the convenience store.

Ryu's steps seemed to falter, making all the employees and even the owner himself frown.

Only one employee stared at Ryu with strong hostility. "Miria, just stay away from Ryu. After all, he has offended Young Master Ken."

Ryu who had stepped out, now walked without knowing the direction. Suddenly he was in the city park.

Sitting on a park bench, Ryu's eyes were blank and he stared at the sky. "Isn't this going too far, just because I didn't do what you asked, you took away everything I have?"

Ryu's eyes radiated a strong intent of revenge. "To hell with all this!" Ryu shouted before leaning against a park bench.

Ryu's emotions rose sharply, just then he saw a blue screen curtain appear in front of him.

A cold voice sounded in his mind, making him shiver instantly.

[Finding People with bad luck.]

[System is starting to load....]

[System installed successfully!]

[Congratulations, Host obtained the Beginner Box.]

[The Mission System has been activated.]
