Chapter 02.

"Who!" Ryu shouted while looking left and right, but he saw a blue screen that was following his gaze.

Ryu's brows furrowed as he saw the new sight. He slowly calmed down and stared at the blue screen for a moment.

“What is this thing?” Ryu was confused, he turned his face left and right and found that the object kept following his gaze.

“What a strange thing,” Ryu said then he saw some words written there, until finally he noticed one interesting sentence.

[Does the Host want to open the Starter Pack?]

Seeing this, Ryu answered with a little hesitation. “Yes, open it.”

He somehow felt like he had been struck down with a mental illness, hallucinations. However, the pain in his own body was still there so it was impossible to hallucinate.

Just as he was still confused, the object in front of him started making sounds again.

Ryu stared in wonder, until he felt a memory enter his mind. There was a moment of pain, before it completely returned to normal.

“This..” Ryu felt like he had undergone heavy military training. He could overcome various obstacles and his mentality had completely changed.

The oppression that Ken did now seemed like child's play to him. He himself had seen many deaths on the battlefield so it seemed different.

The mental change hadn't completely changed Ryu, he shook his head and walked back to the boarding house where he lived.

Arriving at the boarding house, Ryu immediately went in and lay down on the bed. On the way home, he found one thing, a blue screen thing called a system, which could not be seen by others.

Ryu stared at the system and he began to study it. He calmly saw that there were three functions now, namely Status, Quest and Inventory.

The quest itself looks empty, while the inventory itself contains money and a green round object. This makes Ryu curious about the round object.

Ryu pressed the screen and a round object that looked like a healing pill appeared in his palm. Such a magical thing certainly surprised Ryu.

“Wow!” Ryu was shocked, but he soon recovered. Ryu's eyes were focused on the healing pill.

“How do I use this thing?” Ryu was confused but remembered that he had once been bought something similar to a healing pill.

[Just swallow it, Host.]

Hearing that, Ryu swallowed immediately. He felt the changes in his body immediately. The broken bones he had were starting to heal.

This was completely beyond Ryu's comprehension, just one swallow and all the injuries he received were completely healed.

“My wounds have healed and I feel energetic again.” Ryu said in an excited tone. He was truly happy that his wounds had been completely healed.

“Haha!” Ryu laughed out loud, tears came out and he felt happy then he threw himself on the bed hard.

Slowly his laughter became softer and finally he fell asleep, not knowing that the memory enhancement effect was starting to react faster.

In the morning, Ryu who was sleeping started to open his eyes. A feeling of pain was felt on his forehead, so he sat up and held his forehead.

Ryu slowly began to recover, his gaze focused on his surroundings and he muttered, “Yesterday, did that really happen to me?”

Ryu's gaze immediately followed the movement of the mosquito that passed by. He frowned and when the mosquito slowly approached, Ryu casually killed it just like that.

Plaque!

The sound of the hand colliding was so loud, Ryu opened his palm and saw a dead mosquito in his hand.

“Why can I feel every movement of an animal that passes by. Even though it’s faint, I can feel it.” Ryu muttered softly, then he stood up and frowned.

Whoosh!

Ryu swung a crescent kick, but his brows furrowed even further. “This body is so weak.”

[Quest has appeared.]

[Quest : Do stretching for ten minutes.]

[Reward: 1 Physical Point.]

[Failed : -1 Physical Point.]

[Duration: 30 minutes.]

Looking at the screen in front of him, Ryu smiled instantly. He finally knew that yesterday's incident was not a hallucination but reality.

Ryu didn't want to delay any longer, he immediately did the warm-up that he knew from the memories he got yesterday.

One minute, Ryu was already sweating profusely. His breath was ragged, his body began to emit thin steam.

Two minutes, he gritted his teeth, his whole body was shaking. This made Ryu realize that his physique was really bad.

However, Ryu realized one thing, that his body's resistance seemed unusual. Thinking back to why his body's resistance was so strong, Ryu finally found the reason.

"Is it because of the oppression that my immune system has become stronger?" Ryu could only guess that one possibility.

It didn't take long, ten minutes passed and Ryu lay limp on the floor. His breathing was so heavy, his sweat was pouring down, wetting the floor.

"Ahh, tiring. However, this kind of feeling makes me feel satisfied." Ryu said with a smirk.

Just then, the sound of a system notification sounded in Ryu's mind.

[Quest has been completed.]

[Congratulations, Host gets one physical point.]

Ryu felt his body suddenly heat up, he started to recover and his energy returned to normal again.

"This, the feeling of fatigue has disappeared and my strength has increased."

Ryu was certainly happy, he immediately got up and started swinging his crescent kick. Although it looked the same, there was power in the kick.

Ryu himself frowned. "It's still not enough, it seems like I need to increase my physical strength even further."

"System, open status. I want to see my own data." Ryu looked at the system and he saw the screen start to glow for a moment before his personal data was clearly displayed.

[Name: Ryu Arkan.]

[Age: 18 years old.]

[Physical : 9 Points.]

[Money : 10 Million Coins.]
