Jessica rushed to her grandfather's bedside, her heart racing as the machines surrounding Joseph stopped working.
"No, no, no," she whispered, grasping Joseph's limp hand.
The sudden turn of events left her breathless and disbelieving.
Master Christopher immediately went to his bedside, his face fell as he swiftly checked Joseph's vitals. His eyes widened in confirmation.
"I'm afraid he's gone, Miss Matthew.” he said Sadly.
Jessica felt her world crumbled.
A sense of loss and anger rushes through her system.
Filled with grief, Jessica's eyes blazed with anger as she confronted Master Christopher.
“Why is the monitor not beeping? Why!!!!”
You must have made a mistake! You're supposed to be the fucking best!"
"This can't be!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling.
"Master Christopher's expression turned sympathetic.
"I am sorry for your loss Miss Matthew, but his organs were too weak for him to survive it "
Jessica's face Distorted in anguish.
"No! You're wrong! Don't try to cover up your mistake with that!"
“You could have said it before you began the treatment. You said you have never failed!”
Jessica questioned Master Christopher's skill.
“Skilled Doctor my foot!!”
"How could you let this happen?" she demanded, tears streaming down her face.
She tried to grab master Christopher by his collar but was pulled back by Liam and Cynthia.
Master Christopher's expression shifted from sympathetic to defensive.
To protect his reputation, he crafted a dubious explanation.
"Miss Matthew, Mr miller's negative comments about Joseph’s recovery earlier may have affected his subconscious mind, worsening his condition."
Jessica's gaze turned to Liam, confusion appeared on her face.
Releasing her, Liam’s eyebrows rose in surprise.
"That's absurd," he answered.
"My words had no impact on Joseph's medical state."
Cynthia never like the idea of Jessica being with Liam, she saw him as someone below their league and does not belong with them.
She saw the situation as an opportunity to fuel Jessica doubt about Liam.
"Mr miller’s reckless words only worsen the situation," she added
"My skill is unquestionable. Liam’s actions, however, may have accidentally sealed Joseph's fate." Master Christopher persisted.
“Mr Matthew is still alive and I can save him.” Liam said shutting everyone up.
Jessica's eyes widened.
“Do you think you have the qualifications and right to treat Mr Matthew?” Cynthia scoffed.
“Have you not done enough?”
“Stop being delusional. This stunt you want to pull is to impress Miss Matthew right?” Cynthia said rudely.
Liam's eye locked onto Jessica’s “ Mr Matthew can still be saved.” he repeated.
Cynthia crossed her arms.
“Master Christopher known for his skill could not heal him and you can? Is that how bad you want to be noticed?” Cynthia was annoyed because Liam kept ignoring her.
Liam without taking his eyes off Jessica. “I understand your doubt, but I need you to trust me.”
Master Christopher disagreed with Liam.
"Master Matthew’s condition is hopeless, his organs have failed.”Christopher said.
"We tried everything , advanced tests, experimental treatments, even my specialized Kirin needle. Nothing worked.” he continued.
“Joseph's brain shows no activity.Medically, he's gone." Dr Michael Joseph's attending doctor backed Master Christopher up.
Liam insisted that he can save him.
“Your skeptical instinct about me is understandable, but you need to trust me and have faith.”
Gabriel resorted.“you are not even a medical expert, what is your problem.”
“You are giving Jess false hope, hurting her feelings.” He said with a hint of happiness in his voice.
“Just let him go.” He patted him in his shoulders.
Dr. Michael and Christopher agree, "Joseph is gone. Machines confirm that his organs are no longer functioning.”
Jessica obvilous to what they are saying kept staring at her grandfather.
She would do anything to bring him back.
Liam ignores criticism from Cynthia, Christopher and Gabriel.
He pulls out a rusty box from his bag, he open the box revealing seven old needles called Dragon Needles.
It was given to him by a mysterious elderly man.
"The Dragon needle can save him." Liam said.
"These dirty needles won't help!" Christopher said
“You want to use those rotten needles on Mr Matthew? They are filthy and unsuitable for medical use." Cynthia supported him.
"These needles have special healing powers." Liam said.
“Trying to steal the spotlight, Mr miller?” Gabriel Interrupted.
“You are meant to be an assistant.”
"Joseph's brain activity, heart rate and breathing have stopped. All medical equipment confirms organ failure." Doctor Michael Joseph’s attending doctor said interrupting them
“What ever treatment you want to administer, it is too late.”
Christopher nodded in agreement. "Death is inevitable and irreversible."
“It is not.” Liam said
"You are claiming you can save someone whose organ is no longer working?” Gabriel smirked.
Cynthia stepped forward irritated, "Mr miller you can leave now, You're embarrassing yourself."
“I won't move an inch before treating Mr Matthew.”Liam refused to leave.
His eyes locked on Jessica. "If I don't start treatment within five minutes, Joseph will die."
Jessica's gaze shifted between Daniel and the doctors. Master Christopher and Dr. Michael's skills and knowledge weighed heavily against Liam's unorthodox methods.
"Remember our agreement, Miss Matthew. One-year probation. If I fail, fire me instantly."
He makes a final plea to Jessica, reminding her of the one-year probation period she gave him as her assistant.
Liam stakes his position, declaring that if he fails to save Joseph, she can fire him on the spot.
Jessica is left torn, she does not know whether to trust Liam, a man she barely knows, or believe in the verdicts of Master Christopher and Doctor Michael.
Jessica must decide quickly whether to let Liam try his traditional method to save her grandfather's life. Or accept that he is dead.

Liam's eyes glimmered with hope as a memory flashed through his mind. “His grandfather once told him about a makeshift exorcism ritual using swine, and had performed it in front of him.”As they were about to enter the room, Liam stopped Kieran. he took a deep breath, remembering the details of the ritual. "He would place the swine in a sacred circle, surrounded by prayers and incantations. The swine would then absorb the dark energy, allowing the afflicted person to be freed from its grasp."“We need swine,” he said.Kieran's eyebrows rose. “Swine?”he repeated. “What do you mean?”Liam nodded. "My grandfather said that swine have a natural affinity for absorbing dark energies. If we can get a swine to absorb the entity's energy, it might give us enough time to perform a proper exorcism.Kieran's face lit up with hope. “Let's do it," he said, ignoring the potential risks. "I own a lot of swine. How many do we need?""Three pigs," Liam responded.Kieran nodded and signaled to one of

"This will help to neutralize the poison," he explained, his voice soft and reassuring. "But you need to drink it all, Tiara. Can you do that for me?"Tiara nodded weakly, her eyes never leaving Liam's face. He helped her sit up, cradling her head in his hands as he brought the cup to her lips. The liquid was bitter and earthy, but Tiara drank it down, her eyes locked onto Liam's.As she finished the concoction, Liam's eyes searched her fa

They say it was a powerful and vengeful curse, one that would afflict our family's women with a mysterious illness that couldn't be cured by ordinary means.”Liam's eyes sparkled with intrigue. “And you think this curse is what's affecting your daughter?”Kieran nodded, feeling a sense of desperation wash over you. “I do. And I believe the Dragon Seal Grass is our only hope. Please, Liam, you have to help me find it.”Liam's expression turned serious, he could see that Kieran was serious but he thinks the diagnosis is wrong, she does not need the dragon seal grass. “Let me see your daughter, and I'll help you.
