Outside Morning Star City, as the sky emitted an orange color as evening approached, two teenage boys, Yuan Fen and Yi Zan, stood waiting for the arrival of the Winged Horse.

Meanwhile, all the Cloud Sword Sect students had left the Magical Beast transport area, and the surroundings had become extremely quiet. The Beast Tamers had also left the place and returned to Morning Star City.

Not caring about the time showing that it was approaching evening, the two children were chatting annoyingly with each other. Yuan Fen blushed when Yi Zan teased her with all the combat items she had just bought at the Treasure Hall.

"Worker brother... I'm afraid that when you become a symbol master, your daily life will be filled with hard work to make talismans and then sell them to buy items that enhance your appearance. Truly, you are a super teenager," Yi Zan teased.

"Hahaha... let me be a dandy; the most important thing is that I can be strong," Yuan Fen retorted.

The two laughed at each other's jo

  • The Fey Leader’s Indifference and Hidden Wealth.

Guo Jiang and the others entered through the tall, beautifully carved doorway, each stone bearing the mark of master craftsmen. As they got closer to the cave entrance, the sound of metal clanging and rocks colliding became deafening, echoing through the crystalline corridors like the music of the gods themselves."What is this?" whispered Guo Jiang, peering into the cave with growing amazement. His voice barely carried over the mystical sounds that filled the air like a symphony of precious stones. He fell silent, stiff and speechless as understanding dawned upon him. The sight within defied all his expectations and experience, challenging his understanding of wealth and power.Thodr joined in the curiosity after seeing Guo Jiang freeze, his elvish instincts alert to the wonder and danger that lay ahead.Inside the cave, an artificial cave about the size of a soccer field, an old Fey was bathing in a pool that sparkled like liquid starlight. Every now and then, the old Fey would subm

  • The Ascent to the Sacred Sanctuary.

Ivien sensed the Enchanter's uneasiness, reading the tension in Guo Jiang's posture like a warrior assessing an opponent's stance. He urged them to hurry to the Leader's residence, understanding that delay could prove catastrophic for both their peoples."The Fey leader lives at the top of the realm, in the highest sanctuary where the air itself is sacred. We can only walk to that high place, following the ancient paths carved by our ancestors' feet.""There is a rule prohibiting flying within this realm, unless you want to die pierced by thousands of arrows!" explained Ivien, his voice carrying the weight of absolute certainty. This made Thodr shiver with a mixture of fear and admiration, his respect for Fey military prowess growing with each revelation. His admiration for the Fey grew even stronger, like flame fed by fresh kindling."The Fey race has many tricks to protect themselves, defensive strategies refined over millennia of survival. One day, in our new home, I will apply the

  • Nightfall Respite and the Weight of Duty.

Night was approaching, and their work was done like a sacred ritual finally completed. The four of them lay in the realm hall, all exhausted but satisfied with their life-saving efforts, their bodies spread across the crystalline floor like fallen warriors after a victorious battle."I want to sleep for a while, to restore my qi and prepare for tomorrow's challenges." said Ivien, closing his eyes with the weariness of one who had carried the weight of his people's suffering."Tomorrow I will take you to the place where the Fey Leader, Lord Gordonance, lives in his sacred sanctuary." He rolled over and hugged Milla without shame, his protective embrace natural as breathing. It was said that this was to reduce the extreme cold, though their love needed no excuse for such tender displays. Thodr, of course, blushed at the intimacy like a maiden seeing her first kiss, his elvish sensibilities overwhelmed by such open affection. He looked away, his pointed ears burning red as roses in sprin

  • The Curse of Silver Valley and the Fey’s Plight.

Even though they were inside a realm called Silver Valley, that didn't mean that the eternal cold of the outside world wasn't felt inside the mystical sanctuary. The cold was still present, seeping through their bones like invisible daggers, as were gusts of freezing wind that seemed capable of penetrating anyone's flesh down to their very soul."You've been living at high altitudes with low oxygen levels for too long, breathing air as thin as spider silk." said Guo Jiang from where he was sitting in a room resembling a hall, his dark robes spreading around him like the wings of a raven. His weathered hands gestured toward the crystalline walls that pulsed with inner light. "That's why the oxygen levels in your blood are so low, creating a weakness that your enemies could exploit."Ivien nodded and listened carefully to the Enchanter's explanation, his gray eyes reflecting the wisdom of ancient bloodlines. The young Fey leader's muscular frame remained perfectly still, like a statue c

  • Crossing the Mithryl Bridge.

Once satisfied, the elf climbed onto the bridge with careful steps. The crystalline surface sang beneath their feet, each footfall creating musical notes that harmonized with the mountain wind in an otherworldly symphony."Are you satisfied with your observations?" Guo Jiang murmured softly, his voice carrying clearly through the thin air. But his voice sounded close to Thodr's ear, as if the Enchanter was whispering directly into his mind through some subtle magical technique."I'm not just amazed by the magic and array technology of the Fey, though their skill surpasses even our greatest artificers." Thodr's voice carried professional respect mixed with competitive determination that burned in his elvish heart."I intend to study the array technique and the materials needed to create such a portal bridge. Someday, we Elves will also build a portal bridge like that!" explained Thodr, a little offended by the implication that he was merely gawking like a tourist. He had always been pr

  • Revelations at Hanging Peak.

This, of course, made Guo Jiang and Thodr breathe a sigh of relief, their tension evaporating like morning dew. The diplomatic mission that had seemed impossible was suddenly within reach, as if the gods themselves had arranged this fortunate meeting."Let's go meet my father right now," said Ivien, pulling Milla's hand with gentle care. His lover was now stable enough to travel, though she still moved with the careful steps of someone recovering from near-death.Before taking a step, he turned around and said, "But I have to tell you something important." His expression grew serious, the earlier mirth fading like sunset giving way to night."My father also has the same disease as my girlfriend, Milla, the same poison eating away at his life force like acid through metal." His voice carried worry and frustration, the burden of watching loved ones suffer weighing heavily on his broad shoulders."It's not just Milla and my father who have this coughing up blood disease.
