Chapter 04

"Ha..! That’s impossible, are you hallucinating?" The beautiful doctor stared at Bella with a serious expression.

She knew enough about the new patient in the exclusive ward. She knew that injuries that severe could not possibly heal in just a few days.

"No, Doc, I saw it myself!" Bella looked at the doctor with a serious gaze.

The beautiful doctor named Eliza instantly stood up. "Take me to the room where he is treated. I won’t believe it unless I see it with my own eyes!"

Bella nodded, then she escorted Eliza to the room where Ryu was staying.

Eliza kept following Bella’s steps, and they finally arrived at the room where Ryu was treated.

When the door opened, Eliza frowned because she saw all the bandages and medical equipment no longer attached to Ryu’s body.

Eliza, seeing the condition of the room, instantly had a dark expression. With a deep voice, she asked Bella.

"Who removed all this?!"

Bella pointed toward Ryu. "It was the patient himself who removed all the bandages and medical equipment, Doctor."

Bella’s answer did not change Eliza’s expression at all. Irritated, she stepped forward and began to examine the patient.

However, just as she was about to touch Ryu’s body, the owner of the body opened his eyes and stared sharply at the figure in front of him.

"Who are you?" Ryu frowned, he did not know Doctor Eliza. But he lowered his guard a little when he saw Nurse Bella together with her.

"My name is Doctor Eliza. I came here because this little nurse said that you have already recovered."

Eliza gave a straightforward answer. She introduced herself while also telling her intention and purpose for coming to the room where Ryu was treated.

Ryu was stunned, then he nodded lightly. "Please check. If I have really recovered, can I request an early discharge?"

"That’s easy." Doctor Eliza began examining with the available medical equipment. From his heartbeat to all the physical injuries that the young patient had suffered.

However, her brows furrowed because everything appeared normal. She even felt suspicious about something.

"Did you really have broken bones?" Doctor Eliza asked in astonishment. She had just touched several areas of his leg, but they were all firm.

Fractured bones should feel a little soft when touched. Not only that, broken bones could still be felt precisely in the area where they had broken.

Yet, all of Ryu’s bones seemed to have no problem at all. As if the young man had never suffered fractures.

"I don’t know, maybe your diagnosis was wrong..." Ryu said with a playful smile.

Doctor Eliza shook her head. She didn’t care too much, then looked toward Bella. "Tomorrow, he can be discharged."

Just one sentence made Ryu smile happily. He wanted to leave the hospital and start spending the money he now had.

Just as he was about to thank her, his brows furrowed when he saw the beautiful doctor take out a cigarette and put it in her mouth.

Ryu immediately sat on the edge of the bed, then grabbed the cigarette from the beautiful doctor’s mouth.

"Don’t smoke!"

Ryu’s speed in taking it was so fast that Eliza was stunned to see her cigarette vanish.

She frowned and looked directly at Ryu. "That’s not a cigarette, it’s just an ordinary candy shaped like a cigarette!"

Eliza took it back, then she stepped out and stopped at the doorway. "Also, it’s very impolite to take someone’s belonging, especially from their mouth!"

Ryu was stunned for a moment. Then, seeing the doctor leave, he shook his head.

However, what Ryu did not realize was that when Eliza left, her face was already red from embarrassment.

Back inside the room...

Bella looked at Ryu. "You really are bold to take Doctor Eliza’s favorite candy."

"Eh, what’s the big deal?" Ryu raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"Well... No one dares to take it, because when someone takes that candy, she gets angry." Bella briefly explained about Doctor Eliza’s candy.

Ryu looked confused, then he shrugged his shoulders. "I don’t know, and I don’t really care about her anger."

"Also, may I exercise for a bit? Somehow I can’t sleep, so with exercise, maybe I can fall asleep again," said Ryu.

Bella was stunned, then she shook her head. "No! I’ll leave now, see you later," she said, then turned around and left the room where Ryu was treated.

Ryu watched Bella, and just as the door closed, he smiled meaningfully.
