Kael's POV"Turn around," I said and Raven was already turning before the second word left my mouth.The vehicle swung so hard as the tires found the wet road and the city rearranged itself through the windshield as we headed back toward the estate.I stared at Mira's messages and felt something happening in my chest that had nothing to do with empires or archives or press conferences.
