Robert stood frozen, his chest heaving with anger. At first, he said nothing, but his clenched fists and reddened face spoke for him. Finally, he snapped.

Karvel lay on the bed, looking worried. The kidnapping had happened so fast, and he was still trying to process everything. He had never had any fight with anyone, so why were they after his life? "I can’t wait to see my wife," he said to no one in particular. He was happy that at least he would finally see her face again. He breathed out, trying to feel more comfortable. He looked around the room, thinking of how to get out soon. Morrison had left one of his phones with him, so Karvel picked it up. Just as he was about to open it, the phone rang, displaying Morrison’s name.Karvel picked up at the first ring. "Hello," he said, waiting for an answer. But the network was poor, and he could barely hear what Morrison was saying. He hung up, and the phone rang again. This time, Morrison’s voice came through clearly. Morrison walked around the room like a warrior leader. As soon as he noticed Karvel opening his eyes on the bed, he quickly rushed towards him."Where am I?" Karvel asked, trying to stand up from the bed but holding his head in pain."Thank God you finally opened your eyes," Morrison said with so much joy. Karvel looked confused; he did not understand what was happening or how he ended up on the bed."What happened to me?" Karvel asked again, struggling to remember. Morrison tried to calm him down. "You were kidnapped," he said. "So we instructed the entire station to search for you no matter what it takes. That was how we were able to bring you out."Karvel’s expression changed as he tried to recall something. Suddenly, his head began to hurt, and he cried out in pain. "Aaah," he exclaimed, holding his head. It seemed like he was remembering what had happened. He recalled being grabbed from behind, struggling to free himself, and then being hit on the head."Oh no," Karvel said, his

"Can you please attend to me?" Elena asked, her voice rising with anger. She was tired of how the police officers were treating her, like she didn’t even exist. "I’ve been here since morning, and you still haven’t attended to me. What’s going on here?"One of the police officers looked at her for a second, then looked away, avoiding her eyes. "You can only get answers if you calm down," he said. "Better still, go home and come back when you’re calmer."This response made Elena even angrier. "Is this how you treat people?" she demanded. "My husband has been missing since yesterday, and you still haven’t come up with anything.
