Tan Hui muttered softly. He still couldn't believe that the God of War was on Earth. Yet Qiao Mo had seen with her own eyes that Xiao Chen was held captive.

“Could it be...?” Tan Hui wondered if the person in the cell was someone else impersonating the God of War.

“Damn it! So all this time we’ve been deceived by them!” he cursed suddenly.

The twelve Demon soldiers with him could only remain silent, stunned by their leader's outburst.

Tan Hui closed his eyes, focusing his mind to trace the source of the sound he heard.

For the twelve demon warriors, the humming sound emitted from the golden spear was likely inaudible—but not to Tan Hui, whose hearing was razor-sharp.

Meanwhile, after activating one of the golden spear's powers, Xiao Chen stopped spinning it. He knew the humming sound would likely attract Tan Hui.
