Jian Ying shook her head slowly. "What building? I only see tall trees ahead."

"Try channeling your Demonic Warrior Energy into your eyes and look again."

Jian Ying followed his instructions and was instantly shocked to see a massive structure blocking their path.

They were both further surprised when the fortress gate opened and several mounted soldiers rode toward them.

"Who are they?" Jian Ying asked.

"I don’t know. But from the energy I sense, they are not demons," Li Jie replied, his gaze fixed on the approaching cavalry.

Moments later, the group of ten soldiers reached them.

"Who are you, and why have you entered the Yunan Kingdom’s territory without permission?" one soldier asked.

"The Yunan Kingdom? Why have I never heard of your kingdom?"

The eight soldiers exchanged confused glances, their suspicious stares returning to the two travelers.
