The audacity!

The fact that she continued walking without so much as looking back to answer his query was galling enough for Jason. He had no idea why but the girl infuriated him with almost everything she did. She was going to learn who was in charge!

As much as he would have liked to shout at her and demand that she answered him, he merely folded his arms and smiled in a chilling manner when he saw that she threw him a furtive glance before she took the turn that lead to the kitchen.

“Did she expect me to run after her like a mad man? Silly twit” he thought to himself before he speed dialled a number on his phone and only said “Bring her to the gazebo. Quietly, do not startle the kids”

“Yes, sir” a sound said on the other end and he disconnected the call as he tucked his car key back into his pocket and he took the back door instead.

A toned-muscled gardener looked up from his task and bowed slightly in Jason’s direction, he nodded back in greeting and went on his way.
