Louis Lewis remained on his knees, sweat pouring down his face as he desperately tried to salvage the situation.

"Mr. Sullivan, please believe me! I would never knowingly try to arrest you! It was all a terrible misunderstanding!"

Jack Sullivan's cold gaze shifted to Carl Bennett, who was still dabbing blood from his forehead with a napkin.

"Arrest him," Jack said simply, pointing at Carl.

Carl Bennett laughed dismissively. "Arrest me? For what? This is all just a silly misunderstanding. I think I'll head back to my room now."

He started to stand up, but Jack Sullivan's voice stopped him cold.

"Apologize to my friends."

Carl's face twisted with indignation. "Apologize? Are you insane? I'm Carl Bennett of the Watson family! I don't apologize to anyone, especially not to some waitresses!"

"Then you'll be arrested," Jack replied calmly.

"This is Watson family territory!" Carl snarled. "You have no authority here! My family owns half of North Harbor!"

Jack Sullivan stood outside Snow Villa Resort, his entire being radiating power that made the very air shimmer around him. His transformation was complete—skin like polished snow, golden blood flowing beneath the surface, and eyes that burned with inner fire. He looked less like a man and more like a warrior from ancient legends. As he prepared to leave for Snow Forest, his phone buzzed with a call from Rose."Boss, I have a fighter jet on standby," Rose reported urgently. "We can eliminate Victor Hunter from the air before he even knows what hit him.""No," Jack Sullivan replied firmly. "This is personal. I'll kill Victor Hunter with my own hands.""But sir, he's extremely dangerous. The risk—""Victor Hunter made this personal when he touched Anna Young," Jack interrupted. "Some debts can only be paid in blood."In Snow Forest, the assembled crowd had grown increasingly restless after ten days of waiting. Victor Hunter remained perched in his tree, surrounded by his energy swallows,

In the ruins of the Watson mansion, Jack Sullivan sat in perfect meditation, feeling the incredible power coursing through his transformed body. But he wasn't satisfied yet."The fighting body is complete," he murmured to himself, "but now comes the real challenge."Jack Sullivan began the process of breaking through to the Pulse Realm—but not in the ordinary way. Most martial artists who achieved this level opened three to five meridian channels. Victor Hunter, considered a genius, had opened six. But Jack Sullivan aimed for something that existed only in ancient legends."Eight meridians," he whispered. "The complete celestial formation."The process would take several days of intense cultivation, but if successful, it would grant him power beyond anything the martial world had ever seen.Back in Snow Forest, the crowd of spectators had grown restless after days of waiting. The wealthy families and their martial masters remained in their positions, afraid to leave but increasingly f

  • CHAPTER 226

In the snowy clearing, Victor Hunter remained perched atop his tree, his magical swallows circling lazily around him. The assembled crowd of wealthy spectators and their martial arts masters watched in tense silence.William Smith, a portly businessman from one of North Harbor's influential families, grew increasingly impatient as the minutes ticked by. Finally, he couldn't contain himself any longer."This is ridiculous!" William declared loudly. "How long are we supposed to wait here? It's been over an hour!"His voice carried across the clearing, drawing everyone's attention. Several other spectators nodded in agreement, though they were careful not to voice their complaints as boldly."Maybe this Jack Sullivan is too scared to show up," William continued mockingly. "All this buildup for nothing! What a coward!"The temperature in the clearing seemed to drop several degrees as Victor Hunter's cold gaze fixed on William Smith."What did you say?" Victor Hunter's voice was quiet, but

The resort staff quickly provided snow sleds for Tony Zhang's group, their faces grim as they prepared the equipment."Are you absolutely sure about this?" the manager asked nervously. "Snow Forest is extremely dangerous today.""We'll be fine," Tony Zhang said confidently. "We're just going to observe from a safe distance."As they prepared to leave, Old Man James approached their group. "Mind if I join you? I have my own reasons for wanting to witness this.""Of course," Lisa Johnson said politely, though she was still uncomfortable with the entire situation. The group set off on their sleds, following winding paths through the snow-covered forest. After twenty minutes of travel, they crested a hill and saw an extraordinary sight. In the center of a large clearing sat Victor Hunter, perched impossibly at the top of a massive pine tree. Despite the freezing temperature, he seemed completely comfortable, wearing only his green robes. Around him, dozens of ethereal swallows made of con

Hannah Shaw knelt beside Anna Young's unconscious form in the resort lobby, tears streaming down her face as panicked guests gathered around them."Someone help her!" Hannah cried desperately. "That old man did something to her!""We should call a doctor," one guest suggested."No!" Hannah shook her head frantically. "Only Jack Sullivan can help her now. But I don't know where he is!"She looked around helplessly, realizing that the one person who could save Anna Young was completely unreachable, deep in cultivation somewhere in the ruins of the Watson mansion.Victor Hunter arrived at Snow Forest, a pristine wilderness area famous for its untouched beauty and dangerous terrain. The ancient trees stretched toward the sky, their branches heavy with fresh snow."This will do perfectly," Victor Hunter said to Billy Carter as they surveyed the area.Victor Hunter raised his hands, and his internal energy began to flow outward. Slowly, dozens of energy constructs began to form—beautiful sw

At the bustling North Harbor wharf, the morning sun cast long shadows across the busy docks. Among the countless laborers hauling cargo and securing ships was an elderly man with only one arm, working steadily despite his obvious physical limitation.James Thompson, nearly sixty years old, hefted a heavy crate with his remaining arm while younger workers around him whispered and laughed."Look at Old Man James again," one worker snickered. "Still pretending he used to be somebody important.""Yeah right," another added mockingly. "A one-armed dock worker claiming he was a general. What a joke!"James just smiled good-naturedly and continued his work. "You boys wouldn't believe me even if I showed you proof.""Come on, old man," the first worker pressed. "Tell us again about your glorious past. We need a good laugh."James set down his crate and wiped sweat from his brow. "I was the top general under Ryan Robinson himself. Lost this arm and everything else in a battle with Victor Hunte
