The spirit realm was quiet that morning, the silver mist curling around the edges of the floating islands like smoke from an unseen fire. Lucas stood at the edge of the cliff, the winds tugging at his robes, his eyes closed as he meditated. The lessons Arilyn had imparted over the past months had changed him, shaped him into something stronger and sharper. Time no longer intimidated him, and the four elements, water, air, fire, and earth—responded to his touch with obedience. Yet, even with all this power, his mind and heart remained tethered to the world he had left behind.

A sudden ripple of energy pulsed through the realm, bright and jagged, and Lucas’s eyes flew open. His heart hammered. He never felt it before. He saw the grace vision about Mirna being in danger.

“Kael! Arilyn!” he called urgently, his voice echoing across the cliffs. Both turned toward him, worry instantly registering on their faces.

“Lucas, what is it?” Kael demanded, running toward him, his cloak trailing behi

    * One hour ago *Before Lucas transitioned from the spirit world to the human realm, the village of Dellwyn was already under siege, though he did not know it yet. The small town, nestled between rolling hills and thick forests, had been peaceful for as long as anyone could remember. But that peace was about to be shattered.Maelrik stood atop a small hill overlooking the dirt road that led into the village. His eyes glinted with calculated malice, and the morning sun reflected off the sharp edges of the armor he wore. Around him, his men prepared their weapons, checking swords, axes, and crossbows.“We still have work to do,” Maelrik said, his voice cold and commanding. “We cannot rest until the boy is found. whoever he is—will not remain hidden forever.”The men nodded silently, a mix of fear and respect in their expressions. Without another word, they began their march toward the village, their footsteps crunching against the gravel and dirt.Meanwhile,

  • Chapter 21 ~ The Search Continues

The morning sun spilled golden light over the bustling market of dellwyn, casting long shadows between the tightly packed stalls. The scent of fresh produce mingled with the briny tang of seafood, and the chatter of merchants calling out their wares filled the air in a chaotic symphony. Mirna wove through the crowded lanes, her basket swinging lightly in her hand, intent on gathering the day’s essentials—tomatoes, fresh shrimp, and perhaps a bundle of herbs for dinner.“Good morning, Mirna!” called out a cheerful vendor, lifting a crate of plump red tomatoes. “The ripest you’ll find this side of dellwyn!”Mirna smiled politely and picked up a handful, her fingers brushing against the smooth, firm skins. “These look perfect, Tomas. How much for a kilo?”“Two silver coins, as always. But since it’s you, I’ll throw in an extra for free,” he said with a wink. She laughed softly, handing him the coins and tucking the tomatoes into her basket. The market was lively as always, yet today, the

King Tharion’s obsidian throne room was cloaked in shadows, the torchlight flickering over the polished black stone and golden filigree. The air was thick with anticipation, as if even the room itself waited for the storm the king would unleash. Tharion’s cold eyes pierced through Maelrik, who stood rigidly at attention before him.“I know you lie, Cazien,” Tharion’s voice cut through the room like a blade. “He is not where you say he is. Something is being hidden from me.”Maelrik stiffened, feeling the weight of the king’s gaze. “Your Highness, the priest assures...”“Assures?” Tharion interrupted, slamming a gauntleted fist onto the armrest of his throne. “Assurances are meaningless when deceit smells of the air around us. I have waited long enough to see truths buried under falsehoods. If Cazien cannot deliver, then I will find him myself through other means.”“Yes, my king,” Maelrik replied, his voice steady but measured. He knew the king’s ruthlessness. To serve Tharion was to w

The air in the Spirit Realm was thick with anticipation as Arilyn stepped forward, her presence commanding yet comforting. Lucas felt a shiver of excitement run down his spine. This was the moment he had been waiting for, though he hadn’t known it until now.“Lucas,” Arilyn began, her voice both firm and gentle, “today you will begin your true training. Time magic.” Lucas blinked. “Time magic?”“Yes,” she replied, her eyes glinting. “Time is not just a sequence of moments. It is a living river. It flows, it bends, it waits for no one, and yet… those who understand it can guide it. But beware, time is as dangerous as it is powerful. Respect it, and it will respect you.” Lucas grinned, already feeling a surge of energy. “I like the sound of this.” Arilyn raised an eyebrow. “You’ll like it even more when you realize it’s not just about control… it’s about perception. You must see time as more than moments, see it as possibility. Feel it in your bones, in your heart, in your mind.”Lucas

  • Chapter 18 ~ Arilyn The Female Wizard

The Spirit Realm shimmered around Lucas, its ethereal light reflecting on his face as he walked beside Kael. The air was thick with the residue of magic, traces of spells lingering like invisible threads in the atmosphere. Every step he took seemed to hum with energy, and he could feel the power within himself growing, pulsing in time with the strange rhythm of this world.“Kael…” Lucas began, hesitantly, “how is it that no one else ever comes here? I mean… I feel like this place is alive, but I’ve never seen another person besides you.”Kael’s gaze softened. “The Spirit Realm is a reflection of true magic, Lucas. Not everyone can enter it, and even fewer can linger here. It responds to power… but also to purpose. Only those who have destiny entwined with the realm can truly exist here for long.”Lucas nodded slowly, processing Kael’s words. He had so many questions about his own powers, about the strange dreams he’d been having, and about the terrifying visions of King Tharion. He wi
