Kael looked at the old man, who was wondering what he was going to pick.

"And what if I decide not to pick any?" He finally said with his hands placed on his chin. "What if I don't want to know what the future holds?"

"The choice is yours, Kael. I can only show you what the future holds, and you can walk the path," the man replied, and immediately the nuts disappeared.

"You came to find him, didn't you?" The old man's groans gave some funny sounds as he got up on his feet.

"Yes. I have a lot of questions to ask him. For some weird reason, I can absorb the Hakana of the death swordmasters." Kael said, keeping his gaze on the man as if he was expecting him to cast a spell to stop it.

The old man could read his thoughts. He grabbed his stick gently as he leaned on it. "Is that such a bad thing that you are getting stronger and more powerful?"
