7. Wish granted

Ian left the company with a mad look and hurriedly picked up his phone

"Damn him!" he groaned and stomped his feet.

Ian knew inside him what merely happened. He was so hurt that he was just fired. He stared at his phone and stared at the lawyer's number and dialed it.

"Hmmm, what happened? I thought he was going to work." the lawyer was shocked that Ian suddenly called her.

He couldn't accept that his manager just fired him just like that. He was just late one time and fired him all the way.

"Hey, Ian, you called, what happened?" the lawyer worriedly asked him.

Ian groaned and took a deep breath. As much as he wanted to tell her what happened to him, he doesn't want to.

"Nothing, nothing happened." he said.

"Okay? then, why did you call?" she asked.

He wanted to ask something from her that she might help.

"Ye-ah, I'm sorry but can I ask you about something." he favored.

The lawyer on the other hand was very shocked. She never thought he was going to need her help already that time. Ian was still extremely shy to ask her knowing that he just learned the truth about him and he doesn't want her to think that he was already abusing her.

"Ohhh, that's new. Sure, what is it?" she asked him.

Ian turned around and looked at the company which just fired him a while ago. He knew and he felt inside him that someone sabotaged him.

"Is it possible for me to choose a company I would take as an inheritance?" he asked her.

The lawyer went silent and curious for a while. She doesn't even know why he was asking her about that but she just cleared her throat. She was expecting him to ask another thing from her but she was wrong.

"Yes, that's possible," she said.

Ian smirked and nodded. His plan going inside his mind couldn't make him stop already after hearing her answer.

"That's great to know." he blurted.

"Yes, Ian. Is there anything that I can do for you?" she answered and asked him.

Ian took a deep breath and prepared himself to ask his lawyer about his plan. He wanted to do this for revenge. He was still unsure but he really wants to do it by the way.

"What is it that you want?" he heard her ask.

Ian just swallowed hard.

"In that case, can I be the CEO of any company that I want even if it's not mine?" he asked her.

The lawyer was extremely shocked by his question.

"Well, if the company isn't yours or part of your inheriting. Then, if you really want it, we can buy it and we are going to make you the new CEO. An easy thing to do." she just said and even joked a bit.

Ian nodded, he finally understands the process.

"Okay, if that's the case, can we buy and make me the new CEO of the delivery company?" he asked.

With that, the lawyer's eyes grew bigger, and couldn't help but laugh. She already knew what company he was talking and referring to and about. She was very stunned to speak but she admitted she was amazed.

"Wait, that's possible but may I know the reason why you wanted to be the CEO of that company?" she asked him.

Ian just growled and closed his fist remembering what happened just a while back. He knows his leader didn't fire him without someone's command. After that call, he knew something was wrong already.

"Nothing, I just want to be the CEO of this company, that's all." Ian said.

The lawyer didn't take the initiative to ask him about it again. Though, she knows that there's a reason behind why.

"Okay. In that case, I can assure you that after 30 minutes, that company would be bought and you are going to be the new CEO." she said and happily informed him.

He smiled rest assured thinking about it.

"Thank you! This means a lot to me." he answered.

"It's my job to do." she said.

He smirked after hearing what she just said. He ended the call and couldn't help but laugh. He was so believed at himself.

"Gosh! I never thought life was so easy with money," he said and kept on laughing.

Ian decided to wait and sit in front of the gate.

"I am very excited to start my new life after 30 minutes. I am also excited to see your shocked faces, later on, people." he even bravely said and smiled.

While relaxing and waiting for 30 minutes to pass, he couldn't stop thinking about his ex-girlfriend who betrayed him again.

"Sharmaine, you know that I love you and gave everything I had to you, but after you betrayed me, I will make sure... you are going to regret what you have done to me." Ian madly said with a closed fist.

He already knew how to get Sharmaine but he is just going to get her once and take revenge. He was going to take revenge on them as well. After a while, he saw the top management rushing in front of the gate of the company.

"This is going to be it," he mumbled.

Ian stood up and wipes his hands. As he saw the leader who just fired him, he couldn't help but feel boss. He was still at the end because he was just a common manager but he just fired him just like that. As they arrived at the gate, the president was shocked to see him.

"Wait, who is he?" he asked his underlings.

Ian was just waiting for someone to tell him who was he. When his manager saw him, he got furious and same time curious. He even went forward in front of him with a mad facial expression.

"Mr. Laude! what are you still doing here? Why you still haven't left?" he asked and shouted at him.
