Chris's Mother became fond of Kate neglecting Chris and Scorpion who left them out of anger.

Though she tried to make them understand how important they are to her, still their anger was intact which she let them be, knowing they will calm down if she talk sense into them which will be when she is done discussing with Kate

"They went to Chris's room there, they lay down resting themselves since his mother doesn't know who they are anymore because of Kate's presence".
