CHAPTER ONE
Devin's lips curled into a smile, his fingers clenched the ornate box he was holding. Inside lay a dazzling necklace- his late mother's heirloom, unseen by anyone else, a gift for his precious fiancee Amanda.
“Amanda deserves the best. Giving her this necklace would further prove my love for her,” Devin affirmed, convinced that his beautiful fiancee would appreciate this token of love. Although the wedding was still a few days away, Devin had returned home early that night to surprise Amanda. He worked in a humble factory as a coordinator, but despite his meager earnings, Devin always made sure he provided everything he could for Amanda, especially when she told him that she was carrying his child. The screeching of a car outside told Devin that Amanda was back. He rushed to the window to take a sneak peek at his beautiful bride, but his smile soon faded as his eyes saw the horror! Amanda, with a sheer lace bodysuit, was deepthroating a stranger's cock! Her big tits were spilling out, and her ass was mauled by the man while she forced choked gagging sounds that morphed into slutty whimpers with every thrust of his cock against her throat! Devin's lips parted in shock. He can’t believe this slutty woman was Amanda. “Has your husband come home yet?” The older man who Devin recognized as Luther Banks, CEO of Banks Incorporated, asked Amanda while his crooked lips drew maps on her skin. Amanda groaned and moaned as her waist rocked his crotch. “Devin is NOT my husband. That loser only deserves to be my nanny,” she said while she bit her lower lips and grabbed Luther's balls. “The only fucking reason I'd marry his broke ass is cause he can handle our kids,” she added. Devin gritted his teeth while he heard the words. The disgusting scene playing out before him made bile rise to his throat. “You're a nasty girl, aren't you? All hot and drippy wet for me. That stupid fiance of yours still doesn't know you're carrying my child, does he?” Luther chuckled. Devin froze on the spot. Luther's statement had to be a lie! Amanda let out a flirtatious laugh and a whimper while Luther gently teased her lady parts with his fingers. “Of course, he doesn't. The fool's thinking we'll build a family together. I'm your little bitch alone. Now, fuck me already!” Amanda moaned again. Disgust and anger wrapped around Devin’s entire being. He couldn't believe the deception! He even poured his heart and soul into it, how ironic! Without a second thought, Devin stormed out of the house, his jaws clenched tighter than a locksmith's finest work. “Devin!” Amanda jumped back in fear, dragging her skirt up as she saw him approaching. She had never seen this part of him, a feral nature that startled her to the pup. And Luther was shaken too. “What the hell is happening, Amanda?” Devin voiced out in a deep, unsettling voice as his fingers held the box tighter until his knuckles ached. “What does it look like, Devin? Are you blind?” Amanda shot back carelessly, a remark that further infuriated Devin. “You've been cheating on me? After everything I've done for you?” Devin questioned but Amanda let out a derisive laugh. “What the fuck did you give me? “When the hell have you ever taken me to a five-star place? And where the hell are the Chanel you're supposed to buy me?” “You are just trash! How dare you think you deserve a woman like me?! Look at me!” She did a 360° turn around and settled back into Luther's arms while wearing a Snicker on her face. “... You cannot afford a woman such as myself. So, if there's a man who can afford me, let him do it while you just watch and say nothing!” She yelled at him. Devin's face darkened while he stared at the shrewd lady before him. This was not the same woman he fell in love with. Or was it? Has she been hiding this part of her since they started dating a year back? “Now, Devin, you will pretend like this night never happened. You will go back inside like the foolish guy that you are and keep making plans for the wedding. Or else, I will call off the wedding and kick you into the streets!” she yelled at him. “Are you out of your mind?” Devin opened his eyes wide and shook his head as if he had heard the funniest thing in the world. “You still think I’m gonna marry you?” Devin sneered like a viper about to spit venom. “A slut like you?” Amanda froze, she never thought this gutter rat could dare sneer at her. “You overreaching bastard!” she spat. “Listen Devin. Why don't you just do as she says? There's no need for you to make a fuss about this,” Luther's alcohol-filled breath hit Devin, which made Devin fly into a rage. His chest heaved up and down with eyes turned to ice chips as if he was about to lunge and rip Luther’s throat out. Luther was a little bit terrified but turned into rage. How dare this scum stare at him like that?! “Damn it!” Luther swore under his breath and yanked a few crumpled bills from his bag.” Take it and scram, or I'll have my men throw you out!” But Devin didn't budge an inch. “Cat got your tongue?. Never seen real money before?” Luther questioned. “Are you deaf or just unable to understand what I'm saying? Take the money and get lost!” Amanda glared at Devin like an animal marked for slaughter. Devin stared at the twisted duo, a scornful laugh escaping him. He snatched the bills, shredded them, and hurled the confetti at their faces. “To hell with you and your fucking money!” Devin shot back at Luther.Expand

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate Chapter 199
199. Gloria was just trying to enjoy her evening when a knock came from the front door. She hadn’t been expecting anyone. Her evenings were usually quiet, especially during the colder seasons where she’d be tucked into the couch drinking tea with a blanket draped over her, and sometimes the TV acting as background noise. She pulled her robe closer around her and went to the door. “Who is it?” She called out. There was no answer, then another knock came, sounding a bit angry. Gloria frowned and opened the door halfway. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Standing there, looking like an angry ghost, was a woman she had known. She had the same long, wavy hair, cheekbones, and even the same eyes. Gloria’s hand flew to her mouth. “Oh… oh my goodness.” The woman looked down at her her. “What’s the matter, Aunt Gloria? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Gloria’s knees felt weak. “Kia?” She whispered. “Is that you?” The woman narrowed her eyes. “No. My name’s Eva.”

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate CHAPTER 198
198. Amanda's body was going to be buried. The rain had been falling, soaking up the hole that had been dug to lay her to rest. The air smelled of wet soil and flowers, and underneath it all, there was that quiet heaviness that came when grief settled over people. Devin stood at the front with his coat collar turned up, looking at the casket where she lay as it was lowered into the ground. He didn't exactly show how he felt, but Petra could see everything. She moved closer to him, standing beside him without a word. "You were right about her." Devin said finally, his voice low. "And I was wrong." Petra's brows drew together, not understanding. "About Amanda?" "Yes. She made mistakes, and she wasn't a good person." He admitted, eyes still on the casket. "But she didn't die a coward." Petra nodded. "No. She didn't. And I was horrible to her, but she still risked herself to let me get the scroll to you, only to die at the end." The sound of shovels filled the silence f

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate CHAPTER 197
The house suddenly went dark, but the blackout didn’t last for more than three seconds. “D-Devin!” Petra screamed. When the lights snapped back on, Devin froze. Viktor was standing right there in the middle of the room, smiling like the crazed murderer he was. Petra instantly drew her knife, the anger filling her blood at the thought of Amanda being murdered by this thing. “You son of a—” “Petra.” Devin said without looking at her. “Get out.” She didn’t move. “Like hell I’m leaving you alone with him—” “Get. Out.” His tone made it clear there was no discussion. Then his voice softened. “Please.” Viktor’s eyes never left the table where the map lay. “You’ve been busy, Devin.” He smiled. “Putting my little treasure back together. I’ll take it now.” Devin stood straight, hands loose at his sides. “You’re not getting shit.” Viktor chuckled low, like a predator humouring prey. “Do you even know what you’re holding? You think you’re ready for what that m

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate CHAPTER 196
Petra’s boots hit against the gravel drive as the mansion came into view, her chest burning, lungs screaming for air. The car had stopped just about a mile away, and she was running as fast as she could. She had the map clutched so tightly inside her jacket that her knuckles hurt. Her clothes and skin were torn and bloodied. She didn’t care about any of that, though. All she knew was that she just had to get to Devin before anyone else did. If something like this could cause Amanda to die… fuck, she didn’t want to think about that. When she got to the gate, the guards bowed to greet her, and the gates were already opening. “Devin! Devin!” She yelled as she ran in. Devin got out of the car that was coming out with his coat still on, looking panicked and on edge as he’d been ready to leave. Dreykov and two other guards were behind him. “Petra?” Devin sounded annoyed. “Where the hell have you been?” She shook her head. “I—” “I wasn’t expecting you to leave with Amanda

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate CHAPTER 195
The darkness inside the room felt alive. Amanda could have sworn that it was breathing. The wind had stopped spinning and flinging papers and books around and they stood there, shaking. Petra’s knife was already out, her blade catching what little moonlight was squeezing through the cracked window. “Amanda…” “He’s supposed to be out by this time, he’s never usually in this late…” Amanda whispered. That was when they heard someone laughing evilly. Petra went forward, raising her knife. “Show yourself, you coward. I dare you.” Amanda nearly facepalmed herself. Who says something like that to someone capable of causing a natural disaster? From the darkness, a figure got out of it like it had been part of the wall all along, emanating a dull light. He snapped his fingers and the darkness started to dissolve before it became one huge creature in front of them, standing next to him. “Viktor…” His smile widened. “Ah… my sweet little traitor. You brought a friend too.

DEVIN STONE: Rise of the Billionaire Magnate CHAPTER 194
Amanda’s was crouched low behind a stone wall with Petra. This was her one chance to prove herself to Devin, to prove that she was a changed woman. She had promised to get the missing half, and she would get it. Viktor’s hideout loomed ahead. It was an old, rotting estate hidden in the woods, and its roof was caved in on one side, and it looked like it was somehow… breathing. “This is it?” Petra asked. “Devin told me—” “He has multiple hideouts.” Amanda said. “This is one of his oldest, and he makes it look terrible to not draw suspicion, just in case.” “Is that so? I just thought it represented who he actually is on the inside.” Petra said, unimpressed. “Well, yeah. This is where he hides the stuff he doesn’t want anyone finding.” Amanda sighed. Petra tilted her head and gave her a side glance. “I heard you the first time. And do you mean where he hides your stuff too? Or was that your bedroom in there at some point?” Amanda didn’t look at her. “Funny.” “I
