Jenna clenched her fists, her tears burning into sparks.

“I don’t care whose battlefield it is. I’m not letting either of you win without me!”

The abyss answered her with another explosion.

The battlefield outside convulsed, Denilson’s crowned body lurched forward, his wings thrashing. Fire and shadow blasted outward in a spiral, hurling wolves and dynasties alike into the dirt.

Roland anchored himself with his sword, his scar bleeding freely, a crimson beacon on his face.

“He’s fighting them both inside!” he shouted.

Marcus staggered beside him, wild-eyed, laughter bubbling in his throat.

“Then pray he loses! Because if he wins,none of us live through it!”

Inside the abyss, Jenna lunged, She threw herself at the Entity, her hand burning with fire not her own, her voice threefold as she screamed,

“GET OUT!”

Her palm struck its chest.

The abyss detonated, For a heartbeat, the Entity’s hollow mask cracked, black smoke spilling like blood, But its laughter never faltered.
