Chapter Fifty Three

Early in the morning they had reported to work. Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton retuned to work together. They had been communicating with police commissioner and some other team member would join them in couple of days to intensify their communication with the police across the country and also the immigration offices at the border of the country.

They were in the office when Supernumerary Agnes walked in depressed and sobbed. Detective Sam and Sergeant Clinton was having a clandestine conversation when she entered. They were having a discussion concerning a spy they thought were among them because Sam had been struggling to know how Herbert Halloway learnt of the whole thing.

“What’s wrong Supernumerary Agnes?” Sergeant Clinton asked.

“They have killed my parents,” she said.

“They killed your parents? Who?”

“Herbert Halloway men. I am certain of that. They have killed my parents.”
