Chapter Thirty

When it was dark Detective Sam drove Sergeant Clinton and Solitor Olumide into the main establishment in Yaba. It was a moment Shane would have gotten the best confirmation from but he had been downed by the news of Herbert Halloway being out country and every transaction had been successfully going on without knowing that he was being set up.

Cynthia and the ladies had been at the guest room having fun all days and dancing to the music of their choice that they didn’t know when Detective Sam and her two colleagues entered. They traced down the loud music to the guest room and they were kinda disappointed in the mood they saw them, they seemed carried away.

Detective Sam had to put off the music before they learnt of his presence.

“What’s all this?” Detective Sam said.

Sergeant Clinton went to put on the light because everywhere was dark leaving the coloured light only on.

“So sorry, sir,” they chorused and began to comport themselves and their dresses.
