CHAPTER 6

“Hello cousin. Look who has bitten more than he can chew” Patrick said with a furious smile

Fredric who was facing the other side of the office turned to look at who just spoke and to his surprise it was his cousin Patrick. 

Patrick and Fredric had known each other for years. Patrick used to live at the Great Five family house when he lost his father. Frederic’s father was Patrick’s brother.

Patrick’s side weren’t as rich as Fredric’s.

“Oh laala…..see who I have here in my office” Fredric replied as he take a pen on his table and tapping it on his forehead.

“ You have grown so fast than I thought. I heard you are out a long time but you never came home to say hello or have dinner with us. That’s nice that’s nice. The army group has taken very good care of you. Infact you’re looking good I would love to see you in your uniform one day which am sure would be so soon.” Fredric complimented

“ Thanks cousin. You don’t look so bad either you have grown so well too. How is business and how have you been?” Patrick questioned 

“ As you can see I look so got as a fiddle am doing so great with my lavishing lifestyle.” Replied Fredric in a teasing tone

“ It obvious no need to voice it out.” Said Patrick who was very at Fredric

“ Aren’t you going to offer me a seat?” asked Patrick

Fredric was just looking at him without uttering a word.  Patrick moved forward and sat on a chair which was next to him without the permission of his cousin.

“I don’t care if you are offended or not . As a normal human when u get a visitor you offer the person a seat and serve him or her something either water or anything but don’t worry I understand your situation. 

You aren’t normal as every human being.” Patrick said with a smirk

“ Im glad you know me better than anyone does. You have grown in the army with boldness and fearless that great keep it up.  

Now tell me what brought you here.. why did you barge in my office without me receiving a call from the secretary.  

Look Patrick the fact that we are cousins does not mean you can barge in here when you want trust me I won’t tolerate that at all.” Fredric said furiously

Patrick laughed out so loud as he clapped his hand 

“See who is talking. I don’t need your permission to come here Fredric remember I own a share in all this which am not interested if not I would be sitting next to you. That’s not the reason why I came here but before that….

How is your father my Uncle doing?” 

Fredric shook his head and stood up

“ Why do you ask me? Have you lost your way to the house or have you grown wings to forget how we took care of you back then? 

I have no answer to that if you want to know how your uncle is doing call him on the phone or go to his house and check up on him.

Who has been lying to you all these while that you have a share in all this? You are very funny. You father had nothing before he died he really left you nothing not even a pin. The fact that my dad took you in with is doesn’t mean you have a share in our property get that into you thin skull…..

Lets cut everything short why did you come here?”

“I’m marveled, you still argue over your father’s wealth at your age. As your cousin I would advise you to start doing something with you life rather than hovering around your father’s wealth.

You act all fearful but you are nothing now.  The news is everywhere about how you were beaten mercilessly by one person……hahahahahahha that is very sad and it was all because of a paralyzed girl. So I came hear to ask what caused the downfall of the Almighty Fredric.”

Fredric breathe heavily and frowned his face. His voice was filled with anger. His mouth had swollen like a balloon ready to burst. 

“Was this true about the news circulating everywhere? He was in a dilemma thinking of what to believe but if is not true how come his cousin heard of it.” He thought

This whole thing Patrick was saying was so humiliating to him. The respect and fear he had earned among the people around had fallen and burnt to ashes now the news about Dragon General interrupting his party and taking away Claribel had flew as into the air as smoke.

“ I thought you had enough guards to fight for you . What really happened my d……..” before Patrick could end his sentence Fredric furiously asked him to leave his office at once before he calls the security man to throw him out

“ This all you can do. Ordering people around you should better man up because you have bitten more than you can chew.” Fredrick teased

“ I Fredric Ninson has never failed and lose to anyone and I will never do. It will never happen at all not to day or tomorrow.  I always win and I will win once again and nobody can stop that

I will gain my respect once again in no time. This Dragon man should watch out for me. I haven’t done anything or attacked him because I have so many plans on the way he should just watch out.”

Fredrick voice out boldly

“ Keep on dreaming do you think he is one of the people you go around bullying with you wealth?

No way my dear cousin he is no where compared to any of them. I’m sure he is going to deal with you and your bad deeds once and for all and no one can stop that.”  Patrick gave an assurance to Fredric

As he turned to leave the office a voice called

“ Baaaaaaaby…….where have you been?”
