The woman Isha had called out to stood tall in the center of the ranks of armed men. Her hair was pulled back in a neat bun, and her gaze was as sharp as a dagger. She was the figure who had haunted Isha's nightmares every time she closed her eyes, someone who was supposed to have died in an anomaly incident twenty years ago. Isha felt her chest tighten, her breath catching in her throat. The world around the rooftop seemed to spin, creating a suffocating illusion.

"Isha?" Sunita gripped Isha's arm tightly, her fingernails digging into Isha's skin. "What do you mean, Mother? That woman? Is she their leader?"

Isha could not find the words to answer. Her tongue felt heavy. She could only watch as the middle-aged woman below began to approach the rooftop stairs. Every step she took was punctuated by the rhythmic thud of boots from the dozens of agents following her. They surrounded the roof, cutting off every possible escape route. Martix emerged from the shadows, his face bruised and contorted with overflowing rage.

"You were right, Madam," Martix said, bowing low toward the woman. "This anomaly cannot be controlled. She brought a living witness with her."

The woman stopped directly beneath them. She looked at Isha with an expression that was hard to read, there was a hint of longing, but it was overshadowed by a cold, sharp hatred. She raised her hand, and instantly, ten agents on the roof aimed their weapons at Isha and Sunita's heads.

"Isha, my stubborn child," the woman’s voice was cold and commanding. "You always did have a knack for making a mess. Did you think bringing this woman here would earn you your freedom? You have only brought her to an execution that is long overdue."

Isha took a long, deep breath. She felt her silver energy beginning to surge, demanding to be released. She pulled Sunita close, shielding the woman's face against her chest to protect her from the line of fire. "Do not touch her. You have no business with Sunita. This is between me and the organization."

The woman laughed, a dry, hollow sound without a trace of warmth. "I am the organization, Isha. And you are an anomaly that must be erased from history. If you will not surrender yourself willingly, then I will make sure the woman beside you is destroyed first."

Without warning, Martix fired. Isha reacted in a split second. She manipulated the space in front of her, warping the air until the bullet veered off course and slammed into a chimney behind them. A loud explosion rocked the roof. Isha did not waste another second. She slammed her hand against the concrete floor, triggering a kinetic shockwave that knocked back the line of agents standing near the stairs.

"Run for the emergency exit!" Isha shouted to Sunita.

Sunita scrambled to her feet, but an agent lunged at her from the side. Isha moved in a blur, faster than a speeding bullet. She kicked the agent in the chest, sending him flying into a wall with enough force to crack the bricks. Isha’s body glowed with a silver light, her muscles tensed under the weight of the massive energy. She had to do this. She had to protect Sunita, even if it meant tearing this organization's lair down to its very foundation.

A brutal battle erupted. Isha moved like a silver storm through the crowd of armed men.

He did not kill, yet every strike crippled his opponents with a speed the human eye simply could not follow. Sunita ran with everything she had, but she found herself pinned between two agents closing in to seize her. Isha saw it happen. He rewound time by a single second, pulling Sunita back into his arms just before an agent’s hand could brush her shoulder.

"I told you to stay behind me!" Isha snapped, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

"I couldn't just stand there!" Sunita shot back. She snatched a weapon from the agent Isha had just incapacitated. With a fluid, practiced motion, she fired at the legs of an agent trying to scramble up behind them. "Don't treat me like baggage, Isha. I'm already in this with you!"

Isha spared her a fleeting glance, a flicker of admiration cutting through the crushing tension. They bolted through the swelling crowd of agents. The woman they called Mother simply stood and watched, her arms crossed, waiting for the perfect moment to intervene.

"Martix, end this now!" Mother commanded, her voice booming with authority.

Martix produced a larger dimensional locking device and slammed it onto the floor. A lethal wave of yellow energy began to ripple outward, consuming the rooftop. Isha felt the gravity around them shift violently. Space began to fold, tearing open a void that threatened to swallow everything in its path.

"Damn it," Isha cursed. He hauled Sunita away from the center of the vacuum. "Sunita, we can't run. We have to jump!"

"Jump where?" Sunita asked, staring at the widening abyss beneath them.

"Into that rift! It's the only exit they aren't monitoring!" Isha pointed toward a small tear in the dimension caused by the impact of Martix's device.

Without a second thought, Isha pulled Sunita with him and they plunged into the unstable vortex. The sensation of weightless falling hit them instantly. It felt as if their bodies were being tugged by a thousand invisible hands. Isha pulled Sunita close, making sure she stayed tucked against him. They drifted between dimensions, where time ceased to be linear and everything dissolved into a blur.

Within the darkness of that realm, Isha felt something strange. Residual energy from the dimensional lock clung to them, sparking an unbearable arousal that surged through the horror of the void. Isha felt Sunita’s heart hammering against his chest. An unnatural warmth flooded their bodies, igniting a primal, urgent desire.

Isha looked at Sunita’s face in the dim light of the dimensional rift. She looked back, her eyes heavy with fear but burning with an undeniable longing. In a place where the laws of the universe no longer applied, their inhibitions shattered. Isha kissed her deeply, a kiss full of yearning. Sunita responded with equal intensity, her fingers tangling in Isha’s hair amidst the dimensional chaos.

They fell through layers of reality, their bodies entwined in a beautiful, explicit dance of death. Isha no longer cared about his wounds. He only wanted to feel Sunita’s presence, to be certain she was still by his side even if the world outside was ending for them. Sunita let out a low moan as Isha pulled her even closer, a wordless confession shared in the heart of the void.

Suddenly, they were spat out of the rift. Their bodies hit the hard, weathered wood of a floor. Isha immediately shielded Sunita from the impact. They were in a cramped, dusty space. Moonlight filtered through a shattered window, revealing they were in the attic of a long-abandoned house.

Their breathing was heavy and frantic. Their clothes were a mess, soaked with sweat and the lingering glow of dimensional energy. Sunita was still pinned beneath Isha, gazing up at him with an intense, searching look.

"We made it," Sunita whispered, her voice husky with emotion.

Isha nodded slowly. He brushed a stray hair from her face, savoring a moment of peace just before he heard footsteps outside the attic door. These weren't the sounds of organization agents. These steps were heavy, deliberate, and carried an immense weight of authority. Someone incredibly powerful was approaching.

"Isha," the voice of the woman from the rooftop echoed through the door. "You cannot outrun your destiny. Mother is here to bring you home."

The attic door began to creak open. Isha forced himself up, his body trembling with exhaustion, yet he stepped in front of Sunita, ready to defend her with his life. He saw his Mother’s silhouette appear in the doorway, wielding an energy dagger that pulsed with a brilliant red light. Isha knew that this time, he would have to completely relinquish control over his powers, even if it meant erasing his very existence from reality forever. But before he could act, the attic door was smashed to splinters and an unknown figure charged in from the shadows of the roof!
