"I said, my body is too valuable to sleep with a whore like your sister."

Orlando appeared to chuckle, while Andrew, unable to contain his anger any longer, was about to throw a punch at Orlando.

However, just before it landed on Orlando's face, Erica screamed, "Stop!"

The girl in the red shirt approached Andrew and hugged him tightly from behind. This prompted Andrew to release his grip on Orlando's collar and embrace Erica to calm her down.

"Don't do anything, Andrew. I beg you. Don't jeopardize your position," Erica whispered.

Orlando and Nadine had sinister grins on their faces. Orlando, in particular, remained confident because they were in his father's company. He believed that would protect him from Andrew's attack. As long as they were in his territory, Orlando thought Andrew wouldn't dare to touch him.

"What your sister said is true, Andrew. You'd better watch your attitude. You might end up without a job in this city. You should understand the power of my family, what we can do to shape someone's career. Don't you remember when you worked here, one of your colleagues got fired? Have you ever asked him how his life is now?" Orlando stared at Andrew fiercely.

"I don't care and I'm not afraid of your family, Orlando! I'm here to defend my sister!" Andrew glared back.

"More precisely, to defend a whore," Nadine interjected with a laugh.

Andrew was about to approach Nadine, and this time he didn't consider whether she was a woman or not. He wanted to slap Nadine's face. However, once again, Erica stopped her brother by holding him back.

"No, no! Don't do anything, Andrew. I beg you, promise me!" Erica pleaded.

"Erica! Stop holding me back. They've spread malicious rumors and lies to degrade you! You've been humiliated by them, Erica! I won't stay silent when someone disrespects my family!"

Orlando and Nadine applauded and laughed. Both of them approached Andrew and Erica, and even Orlando didn't hesitate to embrace Andrew with his irritating expression.

"A beautiful drama in the morning. You're lucky to have a younger sister who is much more mature and understands your position in this city, Andrew. Erica, I will forgive your deliberate attempts to seduce me, and I won't bring up the slander you threw at Andrew again. Nadine has decided the same thing. What happened this morning, I consider it done."

"No! It's not over, you bastard!" Andrew pulled Orlando's collar again.

"Stop it, Andrew!"

Erica raised her voice and scolded her brother. She released her embrace on Andrew and pulled his hand away from Orlando's collar.

"Let me handle this!" Erica cupped her hands in front of Orlando and said, "I beg you, forgive what happened this morning. Please don't make it difficult for my brother to find a job. After all, we no longer have parents. We need money, I plead with you, don't bring up this incident again, Sir."

Seeing her sister continuously apologizing to Orlando infuriated Andrew. He then decided to pull Erica away from Orlando.

"Come on, Erica!"

Andrew chose not to prolong the issue as long as Erica was near him. He restrained his anger and resentment towards Orlando. However, his mind still struggled to stay focused and not let the emotions ignite against the two annoying individuals.

Unfortunately, the words that came out of Orlando's mouth afterward made Andrew halt his steps, which had already taken him quite far, when Orlando shouted, "Goodbye, poor people! If you need a job, come to me, Erica, and lick my ass!"

"No, don't do it, Andrew!" Erica tried to stop Andrew, but her brother could no longer contain his anger.

Nadine and Orlando's laughter echoed in front of the company. Just before Orlando entered, Andrew leaped towards him, causing Orlando to fall.

"KYAA!"

Nadine's laughter turned into screams. Orlando's body was right in the middle of the door, keeping the automatic door open.

Andrew gripped his neck and sat on top of Orlando's body. His gaze was fierce, and he said, "Say hello to hell, Orlando!"

At first, it felt like calm—a welcomed reprieve after days of relentless chaos. But Reya knew better. Silence was rarely innocent. It was often a mask worn by what came next: revelation, betrayal, or worse—truth. From the terrace of the decaying observatory, Reya watched the twin moons inch across the horizon. Their light reflected off the blackened glass towers that once shimmered with pride. Now, they stood like broken fingers clawing the sky. The city had changed since Mirror was shattered, and even though the neural frequencies had stilled, the air buzzed with dormant electricity—an echo of everything that had been lost. She could hear him breathing behind her.Lukas.He hadn't spoken since they returned from the excavation site, not even when they found the symbol—an old crest buried under kilometers of ash, etched in obsidian: the First Crest of Syn."Say it," Reya whispered without turning.Lukas remained still, his silence brittle. At the edge of the world—where the relic fields died and the horizon stuttered like a broken film—something grew.It wasn’t made of stone. It wasn’t made of metal. It was built from remnants.Shattered timelines.Forgotten cities.Echoes of people who no longer existed in the current world, but still remembered something else. There, in that void, the clone stood—eyes vacant, skin stitched with Mirror thread—and whispered the foundation of his dominion.“I will build from the broken.
