“Wow. You're a rookie with no strong background in medicine. That’s rich.” He eyed Nathan with amusement. “No medical decree, no good reputation. You just wake up one morning and decide you could perform miracles. That's nice,” he sarcastically said.

Just then, Mayor’s wife appeared. “What’s going on?”

“We’re discussing my grandmother’s treatment,” Lyon explained. “Father brought this self-claimed doctor who didn't go through any medical school or have a famous teacher to treat her. ”

The woman frowned, her gaze skeptical as she took in Nathan’s calm expression. “This young man? You expect us to trust someone with no credibility?”

"Exactly, mother,” Lyon groaned. "He looked like he barely finished highschool too but considers himself a great doctor.”

"That's ridiculous. He's not fit to even see your mother,” the woman said.

“He shouldn't go close to grandmother, father. He might just worsen her illness," Lyon asserted with disdain.
