Don't ruin the moment

Nathan's eyes narrowed into slits as Dean made his way around the table. The four men had left at Nathan's order. With graceful movements, Dean cheekily sat down and crossed his legs and slammed a file on the table. The entire time, Nathan was watching in anticipation.

“You should why I'm here,” Dean said and lazily glanced up at Nathan. Of course, Nathan didn't know, and he didn't care. Both men were enemies. The fact that Dean dared to harass Laura made Nathan's expression darken.

“This isn't the time or place…or are you here for more beatings,” Nathan retorted cheekily, and he saw Dean's eyes flash with rage but soon composed himself.

“My dad doesn't know what he's done…very soon you'll lead this company to bankruptcy,” Dean remarked while tapping his fingers on the table. There was silence on Nathan's part, but soon his lips quivered upwards into a smirk. He adjusted comfortably in his chair and let out a chuckle.
