At that moment, a soft sound was heard.

"Beep!"

The payment was successful, followed by the sound of the receipt being printed. The young cashier who swiped the card for Thomas was a bit confused. Earlier, Adessa had spoken with such conviction, belittling Thomas to the point of worthlessness. Although she didn't say anything, she also had an inner disgust for such people and kept her distance. Even though Thomas said he would give her a commission, she didn't believe he could afford it.

She was a bit slow to react, and the receipt had already been printed, but she still stared at Thomas in shock.

"Is everything okay?" Thomas asked with a smile.

"Oh, yes, sir. This is your bank card, and this is the receipt!" The cashier snapped out of her daze, then became overjoyed because the clothes Thomas bought would earn her a commission!

Meanwhile, Rachael and her mother were completely stunned. They stared at Thomas with wide eyes, as if they were looking at an alien. Adessa shouted hoarsely, "This is impossible! It's impossible!

I know very well what kind of person Peter is. How could he afford such expensive clothes? It must be a malfunctioning machine. Aunt, are there any other machines here?"

"Yes, there are. I'll go get them!" Amanda said.

"Enough!"

Ms. Noelle shouted sternly, "Amanda, I hired you to serve customers, but you and your niece have done everything possible to push my customers out and insult them. Are you here to do my business?"

Amanda's face turned pale. "No, boss, you have to believe me," she said. Adessa also looked terrified. They couldn't afford to offend her!

As they left the clothing store, Amelia couldn't wait to ask, "Peter, where did you get the money? Did you get it from Rachael?"

"I don't have that kind of money either, Mom," Rachael said.

Afterwards, she looked at Thomas and asked, "I saw a few days ago that you had no money in your account. Where did you get the money?"

Selling game accounts was something that couldn't be mentioned. It was easy to expose one's true identity. Therefore, Thomas had to lie, "Actually, I... had some private savings. I just withdrew it yesterday..."

Amelia immediately jumped up, "You fool, you’ve been eating our food, and you dare to hide your savings? Last time I gave you money for Emma’s medicine. You hid so much money? Be honest, how much is in the savings? And you better bring it all out"

Thomas said, "Not much."

"How much exactly?"

"15,000 dollars, now there's only a little over

5,000 left."

"Go and withdraw all of it for me now."

Rachael finally spoke up, "Mom, we're on the road, don't do this! Peter took the initiative to give us money to buy clothes, I think he really wants to turn over a new leaf, don't keep scolding him." Then she said, "These clothes are indeed a bit expensive, punishing Adessa made me feel better, but spending so much money is really not worth it. How about we return it and exchange it for something cheaper?"

Thomas quickly said, "That's not good. We're going to your mother’s family for the first time in the capital tomorrow. If we dress too poorly, it'll embarrass Mom." Amelia immediately nodded, "Rachael, we're going to ask your uncle for money.

As for Adessa, she almost vomited bile in the bathroom. In her heart, she cursed Thomas and Rachael for generations. "Peter, you waste, scum, I will not let you off!"

"I, Adessa, will not rest until l've taken revenge!" She wiped her face and walked out of the bathroom. Before you know it, Amanda rushed over and slapped her in the face. "Why did you hit me, Auntie?" Adessa was stunned. Amanda looked fierce, "It's all your fault for what happened today! Now I've been fired by the boss, are you happy?"

The salary and commission at the boutique were both high. Adessa was slapped twice today and felt very wronged. Her anger was directed towards Thomas, and she was determined to seek revenge.

The next day, Thomas, Rachael, and her mother's family took a trip and finally arrived at the hotel, where Amelia’s grandfather was holding his birthday banquet. This was a five-star hotel in the capital. The party was held on the 18th floor. As they were about to enter the hotel gate, a luxurious Maybach sports car rushed to a stop in front of them, startling several people. Thomas, holding Emma, was even more furious and shouted, "How could you drive like that? Can't you see there are people here? What if you hit someone?"

A young man in a suit got out of the car, his face full of excitement and enthusiasm. He didn't even look at Thomas and Emma. Then, he ran straight to Rachael and grabbed her arm, saying, "Rachael, I have been looking for you!"

Rachael recognized the person and was shocked, "Dam...Damon?!"

Thomas didn't explain anything and said, "I have a way to solve the Ophelia issue. Do you have a bottle of the Cream with you? Give me one first." In preparation for the marketing plan, Thomas had previously made a batch of the cream with exquisite packaging, but he didn't have any on him.Andrea became even more curious and asked, "You tell me first, how did you solve it?" We've been together for a year, living together for half a year, and now you want to break up just because of Rachael, a married woman you've only known for a short time?" Red remained unmoved, still kneeling on the ground. "It's not about how long we've known each other. It's love at first sight! Blossom, to be honest, I didn't really like you at first.
