Serena fought with every bit of strength she had left.
She kicked and scratched, but the two guards held her down like stone statues. Mr. Roland walked over, his face twisted into a sick smile. He pulled a small glass vial from his pocket. "Open up," he hissed with a lot of tension on his face. He grabbed her chin and forced her mouth open. He poured the liquid down her throat. Serena coughed and tried to spit it out, but he held her jaw shut until she swallowed. Within seconds, the fire in her muscles died out, replaced by a heavy, floating feeling of alcohol. Her arms felt so weak and tired, it was like a poison to her. The guards let her go, and she slumped to the floor. She tried to lift a hand, but she couldn't even wiggle her fingers. "Stay outside," Mr. Roland told his men. "Do not let anyone in. Not even if the building is on fire." The guards walked out and locked the heavy door. Mr. Roland looked down at Serena and smirked. "You are finally mine," he whispered. He picked her up and tossed her onto the large bed. For Serena, everything became a blur of colors and shadows. Mr. Roland began to whistle a happy tune. He wasn't in a rush. He walked around the room, setting up cameras on tripods. He adjusted the lenses, pointing them at the bed from every angle. Serena bit her lip until it bled, using the pain to stay conscious. She reached into the secret inner pocket of her blazer. Her fingers felt numb, but she managed to grab her phone. She didn't look at the screen; she just pressed the speed-dial for her mother. The phone rang once. Twice. Her mother picked up. Ll"Hello, daughter? Why are you calling so early?" "Mom..." Serena’s voice was a broken whisper. "Help me. Assemblyman Roland he’s going to... rape me..." She couldn't finish the sentence. Mr. Roland heard the voice and spun around. "Fuck!" he screamed. He lunged at the bed and snatched the phone from her weak grip. He backhanded her across the face, the force of the blow sending her head spinning. "Why are you making things so hard, you’re a grown up adult, you know how this goes down." he growled. He threw the phone onto the marble floor and stomped on it until it shattered into pieces. Serena’s eyes closed. Darkness finally took her. Back at the house, Mrs. Earnshaw froze. She looked at her phone, then at Mrs. Morgan. Her face was pale. "What is it? What’s wrong?" Mrs. Morgan asked, leaning in. "Serena... she’s in trouble," Mrs. Earnshaw stammered. "She said Assemblyman Roland is trying to... to hurt her. She’s at his villa for the Avalon project." "We have to tell Mr. Earnshaw right now!" Mrs. Morgan cried, jumping up. "He needs to call the police!" "No! Wait!" Mrs. Earnshaw grabbed her arm. "This is an assemblyman! If we send my husband and he makes a scene, we will be ruined. We can't get on the bad side of a man that powerful. We will lose everything." Mrs. Morgan gasped. "But we have to help her! He’s going to ruin her!" Mrs. Earnshaw thought quickly, her mind racing with fear and greed. "Ferdinand. We call Ferdinand! He has connections. He’s powerful. He can handle this quietly without making us look bad." They called Ferdinand immediately. When he heard the news, his voice shook. He knew Roland was a monster, but he also saw an opportunity to be a hero. "Mother, don't worry. I will call my father. I will do what I can. I’m on my way." In the bathroom of the Earnshaw house, Dustin felt the connection snap. The pain in his chest was gone, replaced by a cold, murderous void. He knew exactly what had happened. Serena was unconscious. He didn't wait. He didn't ask permission. He pulled out a black phone—one he never used in public. "Fred," Dustin said, his voice sounding like grinding metal. "Trace the signal of Serena’s phone. Give me the coordinates right now." "Sir? Is something wrong?" "Find her, Fred. If a single hair on her head is touched, I will burn this city to the ground." "Tracing now,” he immediately got himself to the computer in a matter of urgency. “Master. She is at the Roland Villa. North District." Dustin didn't say goodbye. He vanished from the house like a ghost. Inside the villa, the air was quiet. Mr. Roland had finished setting up his cameras. He felt like a king. He walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower, humming to himself. He walked out wearing only his boxers, drying his hair with a towel. He looked at Serena, who lay still on the bed, her breathing shallow. "I told you," he said to her unconscious form. "I will make sure you like it and feel it." He sat on the edge of the bed. His hands were shaking with sick excitement. He reached out and started unbuttoning her dress. One button. Two. He slid the fabric away, reaching for the clasp of her bra. SMASH!!! The sound was like a bomb going off. The massive, reinforced oak door didn't just open—it exploded and fell. The wood splintered into a thousand pieces, flying across the room. Mr. Roland jumped back, screaming in terror. Standing in the ruins of the doorway was Dustin, his presence filled the entire room. His eyes were glowing with a terrifying golden light. "You," Dustin whispered.Latest Chapter

The room was a chaos of shouting and finger-pointing. Serena groaned, pressing her palms against her temples. The bright hospital lights made her vision swim."Enough!" Serena’s voice was weak, but it cut through the noise. "I have a massive headache. Can you all just keep it quiet for one minute?"The room fell silent. Mrs. Morgan rushed to the bedside, smoothing Serena’s hair. "Of course, darling. We’re just trying to make sure this... this peasant doesn't take credit for Ferdinand’s hard work."Serena looked at Dustin, then at Ferdinand. Her memory was hazy, like looking through a foggy window. "Dustin... I remember him coming into the room. I remember his voice. If Ferdinand called his father for backup too, then I’m grateful to both of you."She stopped there. She didn't mention the cold shiver that ran down her spine when she looked at Ferdinand. She hadn't forgotten the night at the party months ago when Ferdinand had trapped her in the hallway, his breath smelling of whiskey,

The air in the living room was thick enough to choke on. Every eye was pinned to the phone resting on the table. It vibrated, buzzing predator in the silence.Ring. Ring. Ring.No one moved. It was so silenced that no one wanted to interrupt. Ferdinand reached out, his fingers trembling slightly as he swiped to redial. He pressed the phone to his ear, his jaw tight."Still nothing?" Mrs. Morgan whispered, leaning in as if her proximity could force the signal through.Ferdinand pulled the phone away, staring at the darkened screen with a look of frustration. "The line... it just went dead. My father's phone must have run out of battery. He’s been in back-to-back meetings with the ministry all day.""How convenient," Dustin said, his voice dripping with irony. "What a miraculous coincidence. The man who supposedly sent a private army to save Serena suddenly has a dead battery the second we need proof. It’s almost poetic."Ferdinand’s head snapped toward him, eyes flashing. "What would

The air outside the assemblyman’s villa was heavy with the smell of blood and war. When Mrs. Earnshaw, Mrs. Morgan, and Ferdinand pulled up in a panic, there eyes never believed what they were seeing.Dustin was standing by the shattered entrance, his hands tucked into his pockets, looking as calm as a man waiting for a bus, he wasn’t too bothered by there appearance."You!" Mrs. Earnshaw screamed, stumbling out of the car. She rushed at him, her face twisted in a mask of terror and rage. "What are you doing here, you useless boy? Where is my daughter? Where is Serena?"Mrs. Morgan followed close behind, but she stopped dead when she looked at the pavement. "Blood..." she whispered, pointing at the dark, wet stains splattered across the marble steps. "Oh God, there’s blood everywhere! Dustin, what did you do? Where is she?" She panicked.Dustin didn't move. His voice was flat, devoid of the panic they were feeling. "Serena is safe. The Red Eagle squad arrived just in time. They h

Mr. Roland was shocked and asked, “Who are you? The next morning, the sun hit the bedroom floor, but Serena was already gone. Dustin rubbed his eyes and walked into the living room. Mrs. Earnshaw and her friend, Mrs. Morgan, were sitting on the sofa. They were drinking tea and looking at him with disgust."Good morning," Dustin said politely.Mrs. Earnshaw didn't greet him back. Instead, she put her tea down with a loud force like she’s willing to brake the mug in response to her rage and anger. "Look at you. You look like a beggar who stayed the night. How much longer do you plan to ruin my daughter’s life?"Mrs. Morgan laughed. "He is probably waiting for a handout. Look at those clothes. Even my gardener dresses better."Mrs. Earnshaw pulled a checkbook from her bag. She wrote a number and tossed the paper on the table. "Here. Ten million dollars. Take it and leave Serena forever. Go back to your village and buy a farm or whatever you feel like, that should be enough for a like standard like you."Dustin looked at the chec
