"Morning Mom,"

Erica said to her mom as she hurriedly climbed down the stairs.

"Morning honey, sleep well I hope?"

"Yeah, something like that."

Erica said as she approached the dining table.

"'Something like that', what does that even mean"

"Exactly what it sounds like."

"That doesn't explain anything, young lady."

"Maybe, no explanation is needed."

"Well, when you're done being a smart ass, please be kind and ask your brother to join us for breakfast."

"Eric!!!!!!!!"

She yelled.

"Yup. Pretty sure he heard that."

Erica said nonchalantly as she dipped her finger into the breakfast.

"Sometimes. I wonder how you two get along."

"He's my twin. We're blood. We have no choice but to get along. Family comes first, Always."

"That was nice Erica, but the sarcasm ruined it."

"That wasn't sarcasm mom, that came from the depth of my soul."

"I see."

"How's Mrs. Smith doing?"

Her mom gave a short sigh,

"That poor woman. Can't even imagine what she must be going through."
