Immediately after the victorious first battle, the villagers begin to bury the deceased while Kahleen began to treat the injured one as Ric stood upright as he scanned the village as he was in a long deep thought.

He knew this village was now his, and he needed to reforge this outpost into one of the strongest outposts.

He rubbed his brow together as he began to understand this world and how it really works.

A few days later, after everything was finally settled and the villagers began their normal routine, winter finally arrived at their doorstep.

RiverPark Village was really not prepared for the Winter. The fields were spent, the granary halls were dangerously low, and the influx of refugees fleeing the surrounding borderlands had pushed the settlement to a breaking point.

Children huddled near dying fires, and the ominous specter of mass starvation hung over the outpost as it became very unbearable.

Ric stood in the center of the village square, he couldn't sit still and do nothing since he had already taken charge of the outpost, he couldn't let anything bad befall the villagers, there won't be any outpost to build if the citizens die of starvation.

He took out a detailed map pinned to a wooden table by a dagger. He knew the numbers, and the numbers were fatal. If they didn't act immediately, the first heavy snowfall would turn Riverpark into a mass grave.

He gathered all the community leaders as they gazed at him with respect and awe.

Ric glanced at them, he could sense hope and burning fires in their eyes, the fire to survive, he knew they totally looked up to him as their Savior.

His shoulder became very heavy when he thought about the responsibility resting on it.

He took a deep breath as he slowly said, “We can't wait for any miracle to happen any time soon.” He paused briefly as he pointed at the map before him and continued, “We change how the village runs or we bury half of our people by the new year!”

Ric spoke with unquestionable authority as the community leaders exchanged glances and nodded their heads after a short time.

Utilizing his knowledge of modern infrastructure and survival logistics, Ric completely overhauled the settlement. He ordered the construction of a primitive but highly effective closed loop irrigation system, diverting a nearby thermal spring to keep the communal greenhouses frost free. He instituted strict, calorie calculated food rationing, ensuring no one starved while preventing anyone from hoarding. To combat the rising threat of camp fever, he mandated modern sanitation methods, digging deep, lime-treated latrines downwind and enforcing the boiling of all drinking water.

Recognizing the sheer scale of the crisis, and knowing the pressure Ric has to face, the three women stepped forward, throwing their unique talents into the effort and fundamentally shifting the camp's dynamic.

Lady Yan took over the chaotic supply lines. Utilizing her high born education in administration, she transformed a disorganized mess of scrap paper into a masterfully audited ledger system. She accounted for every grain of wheat and every strip of dried meat, mapping out distribution routes with cold, aristocratic efficiency that left no room for corruption or waste.

Kahleen applied her extensive medical expertise to the refugee quarters.

Ric shared with her the basic knowledge of Modern medicine that the system taught him as she was also armed with a deep knowledge of local herbal medicines, she set up an isolation infirmary. She brewed tinctures of willow bark for fevers and pine needle infusions to ward off scurvy, drastically reducing the disease rate among the malnourished population within days.

Meanwhile, Morgana took charge of the village’s defense. She gathered every able bodied villager, from young weavers to grizzled miners, and formed a militia.

She taught them the sophisticated phalanx formation that Ric gave her which proved difficult as it became crude but it will surely take some time into mastery.

In the open courtyard, her voice rang out like cracked ice as she drilled them mercilessly in lethal, practical combat tactics, molding a terrified peasantry into a cohesive, disciplined front line soldier.

Ric walked towards Lady Yan slowly watched how she used her knowledge to implement the audit ledger system, something clicked inside him as he fell into deep thought.

Lady Yan noticed him as she turned back and faced Ric who was absent minded as her eyes were still cold but not as before.

Cough!

Lady Yan coughed slowly as woke him back from his thoughts.

“Do you want something?” Lady Yan asked without any emotions on her face.

Ric smiled slowly as he walked towards Lady Yan as the former stood rooted without taking any step back.

Ric paused a few distance from her as he gazed at cold and noble appearance. He had to admit, she is beautiful even with her indifferent and cold look.

He took ink and paper that was beside her and wrote out the detailed Basic Farming Package such as Frost Resistant Seeds and Irrigation Plans.

This kind of package is usually designed to help farmers survive harsh weather, maintain stable food production, and improve harvest efficiency. It combines specialized seeds, water management systems, and basic farming guidance into one support bundle.

She glanced at the blueprint on the paper, her brow was furrowed deeply as her sharp eyes traced every line and marking carefully. The more she studied it, the more astonishment appeared in her expression, as though she could hardly believe such a detailed irrigation design could exist.

Meanwhile, after a long time, she gazed deeply at Ric, without asking any question, she slowly nodded her head towards him and slowly said, “We will get it done!”

She turned back and left without any more words.

Ric touched his nose and smiled helplessly before he turned and left her.

Shortly after that, Ric stood silently in the center of the village as he noticed how his three wives began to implement their knowledge in their respective field, he knew they were never a burden to him but a means to forge them into a terrifying force that this world has never seen.

His eyes began to flicker as he clenched his knuckles harder, he looked up into the sky and he murmured slowly, “This world will definitely know my name and it won't be long!”

The map lay forgotten on the oak table, its careful lines and marked shafts abandoned for the moment. Ric’s hands never left them as he guided the three of them through the adjoining chamber. The door closed behind them with a soft, final click. Outside, the first thin light of dawn pressed against the shuttered windows, but inside the air remained warm and heavy with the scent of skin and the low crackle of the hearth that had burned steadily through the night. Kahleen’s fingers were already working at the buckles of his armor. The instant the leather came free, Morgana’s mouth found the side of his throat. Yan simply watched for a heartbeat, dark eyes bright with quiet intensity, then stepped forward and claimed his mouth in a slow, deliberate kiss that tasted of both strategy and surrender. They did not rush. They never did when it was the four of them like this. Ric’s hands moved with quiet certainty unlacing, unbuckling, sliding cloth away until three bodies pressed bar

He thrust into Kahleen hard and deep, one hand reaching around to rub her clit, the other tangled in Yan’s hair as she rode Morgana’s mouth. The three women moved together, moaning, whispering broken words of love and need. When Ric finally came it was with a guttural groan, burying himself to the hilt in Kahleen and spilling hot and thick inside her while they trembled and held onto each other. They collapsed in a tangle of limbs and damp skin. Morgana claimed his mouth in a lazy, satisfied kiss. Yan rested her head on his chest, fingers tracing idle patterns over his heart. The moment the countdown began, Ric made every necessary arrangement to isolate the Central Capital. Together with his wives he moved swiftly through the four regions, ending slavery wherever it still lingered and formally abolishing the emperor system that had bound the land for generations.Barns rose across the countryside for the secure storage of grain, while new routes along the riverbanks opened steady lines of transport. A measured tax was put in place to support a functioning administration. The Legion of Doom expanded rapidly as advanced weapons were mass-produced under Ric’s direction. Drawing on the system’s access to knowledge from his former world, he designed prototypes for future use and stationed elite legionnaires throughout the four regions to keep the peace and protect the people.Corruption was rooted out. Hospitals were built and medical personnel trained from modern baseline manuals provided by the system. Free basic healthcare became the standard, dismantling t

He then informed her that the North, South, East, and West were now firmly under their control. The only territory that remained was the Central Capital. And that was where the real problem lay.The Central Capital was the heart of the Starlight Dynasty and the Emperor's primary power base. Blood dripped steadily from his chin, staining his ruined chestplate."If we break our agreement now," West continued, his chest rising and falling heavily, "tomorrow will not be a battle. It will be an execution."His gaze hardened as he looked toward the distant ridge where the Legion of Doom had disappeared."The Stronghold has already proven its point. They wanted us to understand that our strength means nothing to them. I will not sacrifice thousands of men simply to satisfy my pride."A heavy murmur spread through the troops, but no one dared argue further. The cold logic behind West's words was undeniable. They had watched Roland, the strongest warrior among them, get methodically dismantled before an entire army. The fear was no longer merely a rumor whispered among the soldiers. It had become something tangible, a heavy weight pressing against every breath they took."Raise the white flags before sun
