6: Manager...

They were jerks. Annoying jerks who only knew how to be jerks. 

This was the thought that flashed through Leo's mind as he walked pass them and headed into the Manager's office.

He had just walked in when the manager looked up at him. Leo had realized that the manager wasn't the only person in there. It also happened that the security man was there.

"I don't have enough time to waste so you better clarify yourself now and say the truth so the case doesn't get dragged. How did you get the money?" The manager inquired, glaring coldly at Leo.

"I Said it and I'll keep saying it yet again. Someone gifted me the money and there's nothing more to it. If you don't believe me don't you think you need to dig more into it other than questioning me like a criminal?" He questioned the manager.

"You even Still have the guts to talk in that manner even in such situation. What a joke. Don't you know that you can be sent to jail from here and there you'll he investigated? That's why the security man is here"

Leo sighed " Why would you do that when I'm not even guilty of anything" He expressed.

"Not guilty of anything? What a joke indeed. You should start speaking now on how you scammed people into getting that pay or so. Because how do you expect me to believe that someone gifted you that much? what a joke!"

The Manager wasn't ready to listen to whatever he had to say at all.

The manager had looked around. He had signaled the security man to leave the room and he did.

"Okay, now we're alone. You can tell me everything and I'll keep it a secret. I won't tell anyone. Okey?"

Leo Smirked "How can I tell you something I don't know?"

The man was pissed off "Oh jeez the nerve. So you're not gonna talk?" He questioned"Okay then. Call that jerk. Call that person who sent you the Money. Do it now before I loose my patience "

Leo stared at him "Sir.. You're being unreasonable now.. are you sure you can take the outcome of it?" Leo questioned slightly.

"Don't ask me such stupid question and do the damn calling!" The man snapped

His voice had climbed some pitches so Leo was certain people outside had heard him.

Leo sighed " Okey. I'll make the call. Just give me sec" Leo got out his phone and without further hesitation, called the line in his Recent calls.

The Senior butler of Leo's Grandpa was pacing around the sitting room with his phone in his ears. He was making a call and talking to Grandpa Ellison whom he had spilled the tea about what had happened.

Grandpa Ellison seemed happy and excited on hearing what the senior butler had to report to him.

"Is that so? Then that's real nice!" He expressed. " Has he returned back to the mansion?"

"Not yet Sir. He said he had something to settle and after that he'll think about coming back. I believe he had already decided to forgive you and come back. So Sooner or later he will come back " The senior butler assured.

"Is that so? I'm assured. I'm pretty much glad he has accepted to take over my wealth and business. I have worked hard for it all my years and have made it high. He's the only heir I consider having...so if he doesn't take it I don't think I have anyone else. It'll Simply go to waste"

"I'm sure he will. so rest assured "

"And have you given him the money he'd need While waiting for his return?" Grandpa Ellison Asked.

"Well I didn't have access to the full so I quickly handed young Master the one billion I had. so I wanted to obtain the full stuff which I'll hand over to him for the meantime"

"I see. Do so quickly. As a matter of fact... Don't worry because I'll be returning today" He stated.

"Huh? Sir? Today?" The senior butler inquired.

"Yes.. My grandson will be returning so of course I have to be there. Nothing is more important to me than that. so I'll be returning with my private jet" He assured.

The senior butler was still on the call when he was receiving another call on his phone. He Causally looked at it 

"Oh Sir! I'm receiving a call from Young Master now!" He expressed.

"Oh, Is that so? Then quickly answer his call..He might be in need of something" He stated as The Butler nodded and cut the line 

He picked up Leo's call 

"Hello young Master... what's it?"He inquired from Leo as Leo briefly explained the situation to him.

The senior butler was too stunned to speak.

"What..you mean..they dare...How can they..." He was Annoyed. "Don't worry Young Master, I'll be on my way there.. Just wait for me a while!"

The senior butler had cut the line as he stormed out of the room.

He was furious about the fact that those people would think his young Master in that manner without even bothering knowing who he was or trying to find the truth first.

He wasn't certainly going to let it slide!

Leo had cut the line as he looked up at the Manager " I'm done..Now let's wait for him"

The Manager causally smiled "You know what? I already know how desperate you may feel. So I can be Lenient on you and overlook this, that's if you do something"

Leo Knew this look. He Knew those words. He had met enough despicable jerks in power and now he could conclude that they were basically the same old jerks!

Leo slowly smirked as he stared at his phone as if he was doing something. And then again looked at The manager "Huh? really? and what's that?"

The manager smiled in a scheming Manner "You can Give me 50% share of that money..And then you're good to go"
