Pan froze mid-step. Then he forced his face into something neutral.
Today I won't let it slide. I will get the cufflinks first. Ass-kicking and payback will follow.
The system had given him tools. He needed to stay sharp and use them, instead of letting the heat in his blood make the decisions.
"I will go and find Mother as soon as I can."
Christina laughed at him, and then her face curdled into something bitter.
"Look at him, standing his ground. That is all you are good for, isn't it? Polishing silver in this kitchen while Leo is out conquering the world. Student president, debate champion, and heir to the Osborne empire."
Christina looked him over again, slower this time, like she was cataloging every flaw for future use.
"And you. An adopted mutt who is not worth the Osborne name. At least a real son could be sent somewhere to represent us. You exist only to embarrass us."
Pan tightened his jaw just enough to keep the anger off his face. The words were familiar. They had been carved into him for years.
Mutt. Orphan. Mistake. It was the same script every time, only the room, setting and volume changed.
Christina's gaze raked him up and down, lingering on his rumpled shirt like it was diseased. "Why do you look like you crawled out from under somewhere?"
"Something like that," Pan answered through tight lips.
How I would like to crawl under your clothes instead. Enjoy the seasonal fruits.
The thought arrived uninvited, hot and clear and entirely out of place.
Pan had a hard time pushing it down. The system was already rewriting things inside his head, and he could feel the edges of his old self starting to blur around the corners.
Christina scoffed and shook her head slowly. "Look at you. Sweaty, soiled, and sniffing laundry like a rat."
"You are a stain on this house, and Leo thinks you are unworthy of the Osborne name."
Ouch. That one again.
Christina picked up her phone and turned the screen toward him. Close enough for Pan to read, and well out of his reach.
"Leo asked after you last night. Do you want to know what my brother wrote about you?"
Pan said nothing.
"He wrote, tell the house servant to stay off the second floor while my friends are visiting."
Leo. The golden boy, the living trophy Gregory polished in every conversation whether anyone asked or not. Eleven years in this house, and the golden firstborn still would not use his name.
Pan's fists tightened at his sides until his nails bit into his palms and hurt.
Unworthy. That was the word this family had drilled into him since he was small enough to believe it.
At eight years old he had believed it completely. He had spent a whole winter trying to earn the name, doing chores nobody had set him, waiting for one of them to notice and acknowledge him. Nobody had.
But things are different now.
Something supernatural was buzzing in his veins with real power now. System skills and rewards, to overcome his human limitations.
Now Pan had options like never before. Maybe, just maybe, he could start rewriting the script himself. No more living inside the one they had written for him.
First, I need those golden cufflinks. Everything else can wait.
Christina turned back to the sink, giving him her back like it cost her nothing.
Trusting. Careless. Or absolutely certain he would never dare.
His sister's ass presented itself like an open challenge, the cufflinks chain a hard line over one firm cheek. One quick grab and he could be gone before she finished rinsing the mug.
Pan took three quiet steps toward her.
But Christina twisted at the last moment, glancing over her shoulder at him with those sharp green eyes that missed almost nothing.
"Stay out of my way tonight as well. The gala is for winners. My friends from church are coming, and I will not have them knowing I share a roof with a godless heathen."
Christina rinsed the mug under the tap.
"Wear gloves when you serve. Nobody wants those orphan hands near their glass."
Ding.
The system chimed in his head without warning. The blue screen flared open across his vision, the letters bold and unapologetic.
[CHALLENGE: Your first butt grope] [Target: any female within twenty feet] [Time limit: 5 minutes] [Reward: Unknown] [Penalty: Nosebleed] [Must land on either cheek of the ass, full hand, light to medium pressure, held ten seconds or more]
What the hell. Now, of all times?
Pan's brain stalled for a full beat. The system wanted his entire hand on Christina's ass, held there for ten seconds.
His own sister. Adopted or not, the word still twisted in his gut like spoiled food.
This was not a w*****n. This was real life inside a real house with real consequences, and Christina was the ice queen who would call the clergy on him for looking at her wrong.
If Pan laid a hand on her, war would break out immediately, and no apology would ever walk it back.
Pan looked at her ass anyway. It was firm, masterfully sculpted by years of running and self-discipline. No man had ever touched the goods.
That ass was begging for a palm print whether he wanted to admit it or not.
[00:04:58]
The timer had already started.
Shit.
His hand twitched at his side. He pulled it back immediately, forcing the impulse down.
Christina turned fully now, her eyes narrowing as she caught the small movement and rigid posture.
"What are you gawking at, creep? Do you have something to say before you crawl back to your hole?"
Pan swallowed. His pulse roared in his ears. His body was already raging with a heat he had never felt this strongly before in his life.
Lust.
The system was not just giving him challenges. It was rewriting the way he wanted things.
And right now, it was winning.

Chapter 21 The Witch
"Wait. Wait. Wait."Vince's hammer froze half a second above Pan's open hand. The metal hung there, close enough that Pan could feel the cold radiating from it.Vince started grinning like he had won a bet. Ellis copied him a beat later. These two were not hardened thieves. They had walked into a rich man's house with a hammer because Clara asked, and they would have crushed a servant's hand if it made her look at them twice."Now you have come to your senses," Vince said. "Tell me the code."Pan's throat was dry. The rope had rubbed his wrists raw and he could still feel the wood under his palm."I don't have it. Gregory changes the locker codes every week. He was supposed to give me this week's number in the morning and he never did."Vince's grin died. The hammer went up again."Liar!""I can give you something better than a code," Pan said. "Put that down and listen."Vince actually paused. He glanced at Clara. Ellis glanced at Clara. The whole room waited on her, which told Pan e
Chapter 20 The Vengeful One
Pan opened his eyes to a padded room under weak yellow light.A clock ticked on the far wall. The hands said he had been out for half an hour.Faint music throbbed through the ceiling. The gala was still going. His head pounded. His ribs burned where the punches had landed. His shoulder still remembered the doorframe when they dragged him in.Pan was tied to a chair. Rope on his wrists and ankles. A gag sat wet in his mouth. He tried to struggle and only hurt himself. The room was a storage locker. If anyone upstairs had missed a servant with a tray, they had not come looking. They were unlikely to.Empty metal doors hung open on one wall. Three tall cabinets with unbreakable glass stood at the far end.Pan had dusted those cabinets for years. Paintings sat behind that glass. Dark. Old. Expensive.Three people stood near the cabinets in cheap masks, talking low and secretive. From the shapes, he could tell one was a young, fit woman. The other two were men. One thick through the chest
Chapter 19 Runner's Thighs
Christina nodded reluctantly.Pan started at the foot because that was what he had in his hand, then the ankle, then the calf, pressing slowly, looking for the place that would make her hiss.Christina sucked in a breath through her teeth and bit down on it. Perhaps she was recalling the morning, bent over the kitchen island with his hands on her butt cheeks. Her calf was slender and hard from running. Shaved. Warm. Smooth.Pan liked the landscape of his sister's leg and did not hide that from himself. She could have pulled away. Crawling up these stairs in that dress, in front of her church people, was worse. So she let him have the calf. His hand reached the knee. She had not said it hurt yet. Then she snapped the leg back.Christina's face went tight the way it had right before she threw the cufflinks at his chest earlier that day."That's enough. Leave me here. Call a nurse or a doctor."Pan's mind was already made up. "I think your thigh is hurt. Let me see."The girl shook her h
Chapter 18 Leg Landscape
Pan held onto his sister's ankle and wouldn't let go. His eyes swept over her in a new light.Christina looked older and much more mature than she had when he bent her over the kitchen island this morning. Then she had seemed like a naughty schoolgirl who deserved punishment. Now, his sister was a beautiful young damsel in distress.Perhaps it was the combination of the adult makeup and the designer dress that transformed the nineteen-year-old girl. Or maybe she had turned into a grown woman after being touched so intimately for the first time.Pan looked into Christina's eyes and saw fear mixed with shame. But even deeper, there was something she could not wash off. She had experienced an uncharted territory of emotion after being violated and punished.Pan had never seen her like this. For the first time in his life, the holy ice queen looked almost adorable, and a stupid part of him wanted to protect her. This was the same girl who had lied so he would get whipped and quoted script
Chapter 17 Ripples
A tremor ran down Evelyn and she killed it before it reached her hands. Prison scared her more than a room full of guests. That was the only reason she was still taking orders from the boy she used to whip.Pan did not wait for the yes. He sat on the staff chair against the wall and snapped his fingers once, the same way she treated her subordinates. He was using her own training on her.An assistant butler came toward her with a look that said the west doors needed a decision. She lifted two fingers roughly and sent him away. Then she took a deep breath and went around behind the chair. The lady butler stooped. Her hands found Pan's collar as if the job were real. Her chest hit his back first, heavy and hot through both shirts, then slid onto his shoulder. The sound she made on contact was small and she tried to swallow it.Pan did not move his hands. He let both juicy breasts sit packed against the jacket for half a minute until his cock thickened against the seam of the trousers.E
Chapter 16 Velvet Collar
The ballroom was already loud when Pan walked through the service door carrying a tray.He wore an assistant butler's uniform, the black fabric tight and restricting around his collar. The tray in his hands was laden with champagne.Across the floor, the mayor stood near the orchestra with two influential men from city hall. Christina's church circle occupied a quiet corner, while Gemina's friends held the long table by the windows. This was Gregory's idea of a small gala. There were no film stars or celebrities, but the room held enough wealth that a dropped glass would be remembered. The orchestra was playing something safe enough for church money and loud enough to hide their private conversations. The floor still smelled like the wax Pan had put down before dawn. The system had pinged him in the service corridor before the first guests even sat down.[Challenge: Braless Butler—CLOCK ACTIVE] [Time remaining: 12:00:00]It meant Evelyn had obeyed his command.
